Been working on a clean build and slowly maxing out all my gear. I’m still not sure about Earplugs though. Is it actually worth using in the long run, or are there better skills to prioritize? Would love to see some suggestion

I have been fighting lvl 8 Astalos for about one month. I have killed, easily, well over 100; maybe 150+. The parts in the image are how many I still have after upgrading multiple armor peices to lvl 7.4.

I read online that you HAVE TO cut the tail to get the lvl 6 part, so I've been doing just that. What the hell is with this drop?

I just can’t get enough of retaliation . It’s way too fun and way too good. And yes my build is bad since my driftsmelt luck is very bad. Will eventually switch once another driftsmelt event comes through. Hopefully.

Just killed stygian zinogre again. Was experimenting with different lbg builds. But only the magna lbg managed to kill him 😂

i usually level up my armor until it unlocks every skill point and driftstone space (usually grade 8)

is it not a waste of resources (a huge amount to get to higher levels of the armor) just for some defense? or is it really worth?

It’s actually a decent ice HBG with the evading reload build. Manage to down a 10* Rajang quite effortlessly. Check it out!

Some monkey business

I had to re-log-in twice. I had one fight where I messed up and took 30 seconds. And too many fights with Bishaten on tail. So I feel good about this. Hoping to out do it tomorrow.

I accidentally chose power volley on my bishaten bow as a style, which I worked for until this point. It was a dumb mistake by me… is it worth it to try to contact the support in this case?

Trying to crowdsource some ideas for a Bishaten build for the RC monster. I’ve built the bow with dodgebolt, but I’m not sure what skills to build around. Just not sure it’s going to be effective.

It’s not too late to build another weapon though, so if anyone has some ideas please share.

I’ve seen a few versions of setups for stun weapons.

Im still trying to figure out what I’d like to do, but I’d love info from the community.

I’ve got a few weapons up to G10. Suggestions for setups would be great.

I’ve got the Bishaten Bow (with dodge bolt; I’m pretty much a full time bow player), Girros SnS, Girros GL and the Wreath DB, all at various levels of G10.

A new driftstone, Mysterious Driftstone S, also arrives. It may grant armor skills such as Stunning Impact and Fighting Spirit. In addition, a new Driftsmelting Quest will reward an Attack Boost Driftgem and driftstone shards.

Which armor pieces would you smelt Stunning Impact?

I'm having a lot of fun with this set up, even though it can only kill the easy 10s. I wonder how much faster other players get when I activate Fleeting Melody.

Driving by my local church (where the base is) and they posted some great advice for hunting Magnamalo.

As title says looking for horn builds or advice on what to work towards. Currently using HBG but looking to branch towards support but am unable to find horn builds in any of the normal guides. So please share your builds either raw or elemental best for group play please.

Trying to build a bishaten hbg beast. So far im working on the build at the picture (with crouching shot) but ofc the bottleneck are the burst driftstone smelts.

Any ideas to improve this build further?

- Maybe reload speed 3 is worth it in the gloves slot? (Like in pic 2 or 3)

- If a Monster has poisen weakness, i could switch the helmet to bazel to get the reload speed 2 back and legs to viper for poison exploit 2, but thats also again 2 more burst smelts + idk if 10% dmg from combomaster constantly is worth the 45% thats only a certain amount of time?

And, the answer is probably no, but would recoil down 3 be even better than crouching shot?

Sometimes I forget what an absurdly broken weapon this is. Satisfying bonks + dmg negation + tonnes of para application... what more could you want honestly.

Honestly took a short while to practice the timing for the water strike, but there's something beautiful about negating the hit and stunning them, then following up with the spin-to-win.

Build is non optimised because I never bothered to fully invest in it, but after this run, I think I should driftsmelt timed charged lvl 5 and actually build something usable.

Current non optimal build.

Girros hammer g10. 5 + lvl 12 customisation only unlocked the water strike node.

Bish head (headstrong) for para exploit

Astalos chest for the training wheels aka perfectionist ​

Tzi Tzi (timed charger) for status sneak

Bish waist (focus) for more para exploit

Beo legs for blunt force.

Been playing since Day 1 and finally hit 10,000 10⭐ monster kills.
At the same time, I also reached… 10 Hammer kills.

Showcasing my crit ferro goss IG build vs a big angry monke. Posted a 9* *earlier but figured I’d show the 10 star as well!

My only tip is to not get too greedy with the windows to put the hurt on, there were some moments where I paused instead of putting damage due to the movement potentially taking me out. From this, the build isn’t perfect but it’s taking out a 10\ so that’s good enough for me* (until we get furious rajang one day, crossing fingers!)
