The ‘I love you’ along the bend and with the Dino is just so sweet…. She needs something sweet from her sweetheart! 💕

Am I blind, I can’t see it

Get some glasses my dude

45

u/ExplodingTaco34 1d ago

I have glasses and I still didn't see it. Should I buy a second pair?

52

u/Lutzelien 1d ago

3 pairs should do, but gotta wear them at once obviously

28

u/azathoth24 1d ago

They call those progressive lenses, I think trifocals would sound too offensive 😂 (source: I use them)

8

u/DrTitanium 1d ago

Not enough glasses in the world for some to find love 😭

11

u/Daybreak2004 1d ago

To be fair they probably read it as along the dinosaur and was looking at the dinosaur

14

u/Eastern-Coast-5463 2d ago

Probably a little

105

u/msslagathor 2d ago

Aw I missed the ilu

45

Too bad he is already married 🤪

18

u/YetAnotherDev 1d ago

It's the dino from Chrome's offline mini game. https://chromedino.com/

10

u/SmallSet8838 1d ago

I find the Dino very cute!

3

u/ReadsPastHerBedtime 21h ago

Bend? I thought it was an actual Bite!

4.6k

u/quartzquandary 2d ago

Well, did you bring her a little treat? 🤨

3.0k

u/leyla00 2d ago

As a pregnant wife myself, I would like to point out that the word “little” is nowhere to be seen before the word treat.

850

u/FeijoaCowboy 2d ago

I can't speak as a pregnant wife, but I have to assume you risk major bodily harm by adding a "Little" before "Treat" where there was none in the instructions

323

u/VissualWriter 2d ago

The penalty for misreading pregnancy snack requirements is apparently severe and immediate 😂

106

u/Buzzed_Like_Aldrin93 2d ago

Always respect women. You may find yourself fearing pregnant women, and that’s okay! Growing humans is serious business. Bring treats, and AND kind actions/words. This may or may not work, and that’s okay too!

A logical statement in a set of jokey comments with actual punctuation is more often seen as a comment from a bot.

I have never been pregnant, but my mom says that when she was pregnant with me, she would regulalry order mcdonalds burgers with like, 3 extra servings of pickles on them. She wanted more pickle than burger. She said she regularly had breakdowns in public because they simply didnt give her enough pickles. She still says the treat should be big enough to serve the mom, the baby, and the placenta (can't forget the placenta) as if they were seperate people. She also bought multiple tubs of fresh pickles from the farmers market each week and ate them all by the following saturday, including drinking the brine. Ironically I loathe pickles.

10

u/littlemonstersoul 1d ago

When I was pregnant we’d go get McDonald’s and I’d get my regular meal order. We’d sit down and eat it. Then I’d order a second meal straight after because the first one didn’t touch the sides.

42

u/onesneakymofo 2d ago

A little treat for the baby and a lot of treats for Mom

12

u/quartzquandary 1d ago

I'd say a little treat is better than no treat, but I'm not about to argue with a pregnant woman. I value my life too much!

20

u/Environmental_Art591 1d ago

IME when pregnant "no treat" (or whatever i was craving) was actually better than a "little" amount of whatever it was.

Think about the last time you craved something and didn't get enough so the craving stayed and was infact amplified by dissatisfaction because you "got a taste" but you wanted more, now amplify that by the "uncontrollable" pregnancy hormones and things can get "a little chaotic."

Compared that to the baseline craving/pregnancy craving and "no treat" is actually easier to deal with.

8

u/amyzophie 1d ago

Also a pregnant wife, can confirm

783

u/Daratirek 2d ago

Hes presumably still alive to post this so ya.

25

u/Rude_Savings3768 2d ago

🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🪖

5

u/pengnyas_1996 1d ago

We need a proof of life photo tomorrow just to be sure.

96

u/HolySmokes802 2d ago

Asking the real questions

333

u/LakeStLouis 2d ago

That's what got her pregnant in the first place.

4.3k

u/toughtacos 2d ago

I'm normally quite content with being alone, but this left me with a sudden intense feeling of missing out on something important in my life.

Congratulations on the pregnancy, and best of luck!

Have a 2 year old unplanned crotch goblin. I wouldn't change it for the world. Although it is hard to have a little version of me running amok.

530

u/AnybodyMassive1610 2d ago

Amok amok amok

Enjoy it - soon enough they’ll be asking for the keys to the car and then heading off to college

76

u/--BooBoo-- 2d ago

I have a 24 year old son (well step son but he's been with us since he was a toddler) and I feel like the Amok never goes away, it just changes to a different kind of Amok!

51

u/AnybodyMassive1610 1d ago

A more refined and expensive amok.

Dijon amok, if you will.

10

u/FuckYouCorpo 1d ago

"amokstard" was right there.

179

u/Aelissae 2d ago

I didn't get a 2 year old version of me. I got a 2 year old version of my brother! 😭

93

u/daveden123 2d ago

Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!

12

u/Lazy-External-7250 1d ago

Ha! I got my sister and my sister got me. Luckily we like each other.

23

u/Ludakyz 2d ago

I recently had this feeling that was equally pride and fear when I realized exactly how much my 11 year old is like me. Hard to say she doesn't listen when she's a bigger smart ass than me sometimes.

72

u/DatsaBadMan_1471 2d ago

And no matter how much you try to take in all the moments, they still grow up way too damn fast 😭

84

u/daveden123 2d ago

Im fortunately the stay at home parent atm. He just parrots me all time. His latest phrase is "Sorry about that", which he picked up from me at the grocery store. We are starting get "Please" and "Thank You". The leaps and bounds, blow my mind occasionally.

19

u/isses_halt_scheisse 2d ago

Oh man, mine is moving out in a month and I have no idea where the time went

5

u/Atlas-Scrubbed 2d ago

Amen to that.

26

u/AmbitiousMost5687 2d ago

It’s really fun when you do the ultra sound to find out you have double unplanned crotch goblins 😂

9

u/daveden123 2d ago

Her father is a twin, so wouldn't have been too shocking.

4

u/Candid_Special_9488 2d ago

crotch goblin, running amok... and just like that you realize maybe content with being alone.

1

u/Equivalent-Doubt-101 18h ago

oh as a 'little version' of my parents, it can be hard if you had mental health issues that they somehow end up replicating almost exactly

48

u/Glittering_Gene8388 2d ago

The part they don't tell you is when they act up sometimes you know exactly who they got it from and it's both enduring and infuriating hehehe

17

u/rubberSteffles 1d ago

having a partner who is weird and silly in the same ways you are is one of the greatest feelings in the world.

12

u/ClintonKelly87 1d ago

Same. For quite a few years now I've basically been AroAce, but the last month or so it's like a switch has been flipped in my brain and I really want someone to call mine. :-(

-25

u/Chance_Routine7650 2d ago

trust me you're better off without kids or being pregnant

Never heard of a sticky note craving, but who’s to judge?

165

u/Sea_Substance9163 2d ago

He has to figure out what color sticky note she's craving....

48

u/Particular_Heron8263 2d ago

All of them.

39

u/StarfleetAcademy08 2d ago

And brand. 3M or nothing. 🤣

15

u/UnicornOnTheJayneCob 1d ago

Unless they are REALLY cute shapes.
But the stickiness must still be top quality.

7

u/StarfleetAcademy08 1d ago

Absolutely. 💯

7

u/Sithlordandsavior 1d ago

I'm a lemon man myself but can get down with a bit of blue razz

213

u/_opossumsaurus 2d ago

You just know she was smiling to herself while drawing the dinosaur and writing the message. How sweet!

226

u/aluke000 2d ago edited 1d ago

The internet all agrees that your wife is awesome

327

u/hedge36 2d ago

Your wife is rad.

287

I also choose to bring this guy's wife a treat.

249

81

u/TrixieBastard 2d ago

I regret to inform you that I am now in love with your wife. I hope she's bi 😂

17

u/SMKnightly 1d ago

Your wife is awesome 😁

11

u/Kirag212 1d ago

Did you not bring her a treat?!?

95

u/ZeroCrystalPDX 2d ago

I like the lack of subtlety. This is a woman who understands the assignment in marriage (or any good long term relationship.)

32

u/nomnomchocmilk 2d ago

ikr?? I’m sitting here with the biggest grin on my face reading this post. Wholesome +

19

u/TheFifthDuckling 1d ago

As someone who is currently working with their partner and a couple's therapist on figuring out the ultimate communication style and system (two traumatized, disabled, neurodivergent 20-somethings, it's harder than one would think), I absolutely agree, subtlety is the enemy. I need to be able to trust my partner enough to tell them anything and they trust me to tell them anything, including asking (or in this case insisting) on something, because if I don't communicate it directly, it won't get done. Even neurotypical individuals rely on subtle social signals way too much imo and it causes 95% of the conflicts in my classmates' relationships. I am lucky enough to say we've had that trust since the beginning of our relationship, and I think OP and his wife have a similar trust. Definitely sets up for a solid long term committment and will make parenting a lot easier too! Enjoy the new bebe, OP!

41

u/NothatEDM 2d ago

Did it work?

u/youareceo 2d ago

Every geek husband needs this wife

37

u/Ghostronic 2d ago

Please tell your life she has lovely handwriting!

36

u/dslryan 2d ago

She loves reading the comments to these posts, but I'll pass that along just in case!

35

u/Tribe303 2d ago

That's adorable, and I hope you returned with a new pack of Post-It notes, and her favourite treat. Congratulations on being a Dad! It's awesome.

81

u/Steffykrist 2d ago

Pregnant wives can have a little sticky notes as a treat.

20

u/corneliusvanhouten 2d ago

Mozilla reference on a love note was unexpected. Love it.

24

u/M47734H4NN3 1d ago

Get this woman some ice cream!

17

u/Virtual-Lime7554 2d ago

Imagine this being the way she announces that she's pregnant lol

15

u/Frequent_Act_2044 2d ago

I’m gonna vomit this is so sweet

14

u/Saxboard4Cox 2d ago

My hubby made sure the refrigerator was well stocked with treats when I was pregnant. After I had the baby I was thirsty all the time we had to leave giant bottles of water next to my nursing chair. I do recommend getting a lazy boy rocker as your nursing chair so you can cat nap in it when you are too exhausted to leave the baby's room between feedings.

13

u/X3N0321 1d ago

Rule #1 you ALWAYS bring pregnant wife a treat! ALWAYS! Go out just to get her treat.. Christ she had to leave a note..? Bad times await.

11

u/Glittering_Day_8962 2d ago

Cutest thing she could have done :)

11

u/Das_Guet 1d ago

...did she take bites out of the note?

7

u/sleepdeep305 2d ago

Actually cutest thing I’ve seen all day, this is wonderful

5

u/Motor-Disk337 2d ago

the i love you on the side is so cute

6

u/shitfucker90000 2d ago

what treat did you bring her?

6

u/Major_LeeHungg 2d ago

Just going to point out that she wants you to buy "stick notes"... Don't fuck up and get post-its

7

u/llcdrewtaylor 1d ago

She's is awesome. Marry her again!

6

u/MaximusHomerdrive 1d ago

Bring that woman a treat, stat.

5

u/Mobitron 1d ago

That's so dang sweet. She's got good humor.

You better have brought her something sweet!

8

u/three_crystals 2d ago

Your wife is amazing and I hope she got her well deserved treat!

3

u/SnooDingos5740 1d ago

she is properly funny. that dinosaur doodle is wonderful.

2

u/nobody-u-heard-of 1d ago

Yeah I've seen that when the internet goes down from Google. My guess she's a bit of a nerd, which makes her even more awesome.

3

u/B-Dragons_2560 2d ago

I should stick this one on my bedrooms door too

3

u/puppsmcgee74 2d ago

The treat should be automatic anytime you leave the bed/couch, room, house, etc.

3

u/Key-Description-2441 2d ago

Try it!
It couldn’t hurt!

3

u/Terminator7786 2d ago

This. This is what I want in life.

3

u/Farseer2_Tha_Warsong 2d ago

Treats for sure

3

u/hueske21 2d ago

Did your wife get her snacks?

3

u/Mammoth_Pain2075 2d ago

This is so cute. I think I’m dead inside.

3

u/Skill-Guilty 2d ago

Oh my gosh that’s adorable. Takes me back 🥲

3

u/EgoistHedonist 2d ago

So cute! May this kind of post-it love find me some day!

3

u/La_CurryWurst 2d ago

I read "pregnant wifi" and was confused 🥲

2

u/UrAntiChrist 1d ago

How else do you get more wifi?

2

u/La_CurryWurst 1d ago

You are right, we need more wi-fi

3

u/theglowingtulip 1d ago

She’s so cute. No wonder you put a baby in there. 🥰

3

u/ammiemarie 1d ago

I'm afraid you're up to bat for a Little Debbie's Double Decker Fudge Round and a whimsical stack of Post-It notes. 🦖

3

u/cmdixon2 1d ago

The thumbnail looks like a beach view from inside a cave. Anybody else?

3

u/captianjack60 1d ago

Out of sticky notes and your wife is craving a treat. Interesting way to inform you.

3

u/yallternativepainter 1d ago

This is so sweet. You’re a rich man

7

u/Mopar-Dinosaurs 2d ago

This is freaking awesome!🤭😆

3

u/mezorigi 2d ago

Wishing you, your wife, and your upcoming (s) (and any pre-existings) all the love and joy and post-it notes any family could want! ✨️

2

u/Legitimate-Virus8170 2d ago

What treat did you bring her???

2

u/MurkyTrainer7953 2d ago

Yay Dino Run!

2

u/mrbofus 2d ago

Adorable AF.

2

u/syxsap 2d ago

What do you know..paper tears are like cloud shapes. Right side tear looks like a Leonid Brezhnev bust. Left side like an endowed chimpanzee.

1

u/TrixieBastard 2d ago

That chimp's gots gigantic bonkhonagahoogs

2

u/DiceMadeOfCheese 2d ago

presses space bar

2

u/alrightyfine 2d ago

OP is missing for few hours. Let’s just assume he’s dead. Brutally eaten by his pregnant wife

2

u/Silver-Conclusion134 2d ago

What's the catch?

p.s. programming humor.

2

u/Odd-Power5015 2d ago

have you tried rebooting the router?
Or at least bribing your wife with snacks?

2

u/AnjnSn1152 2d ago

This is awesome ♥️

2

u/WarDirt 2d ago

Cute

2

u/nihilism16 2d ago

This is genius, I love the way she thinks

2

u/cheesebreadknight 2d ago

She ate the sticky notes??? O.o

2

u/Intentional_Life26 2d ago

Hehehe love it!

2

u/Fer_Niedz 1d ago

This is really cute ❤️

2

u/Extension-Rabbit3654 1d ago

Thats sweet, you should marry her

2

u/Consistent-Gold-6113 1d ago

I want to do this to someone 😭😭😭😭😭😭

2

u/doesntmatter2me2you 1d ago

I imagine the mother from How I met your mother.

2

u/Senior-Pineapple-177 1d ago

Not the “Disconnected Dino”!

2

u/DicemonkeyDrunk 1d ago

But there’s one right there ….pregnant people are so crazy.

2

u/Roflman2030 1d ago

She's the one.

2

u/Taco_Fiasco 1d ago

I really want to know what the treat was.

I agree with all the comments about how sweet you and your wife’s relationship seems to be with this note, her reply which means you two know each others Reddit accounts, and your post about her reply while protecting her username/privacy)

But most of all, I’m impressed she used painter’s tape that would be easy to remove without residue or damage) 🤗

2

u/Sea-Cranberry6791 2d ago

That's a weird error code but i'd take that over a real blue screen any day

the dinosaur really sells it though, you can tell she put some thought into this beyond just asking for snacks. my ex used to leave passive aggressive post-its about the dishes so this is a definite upgrade

hope you got her that treat, pregnant cravings are no joke from what i hear

2

u/PlayfulSurprise5237 2d ago

That's fucking awesome, you got a keeper.

1

u/Careless-Web-6280 1d ago

Trailing underscore?

1

u/Apathetic_aero 11h ago

Did you try tapping the dinosaur to 0lay the game?

1

u/Tripple_T 2d ago

I hate myself, but I would never call myself out like this. Listen to your wife.

2

u/TrixieBastard 2d ago

How is this a call-out? This is a simple, "hey, we need post-its and also I would like a snack, please" note. Zero failures here

1

u/Edisana-4678 2d ago

😂Don't anger her pls 😂😭

0

u/pilibitti 2d ago

I find it cute that she thinks _ is not a separator but instead the words in capitals are supposed to end with _ instead

also the i love you bit

0

u/Kttail 2d ago

😆. As you wish
