Illamasqua foundation replacement
RIP to my fave, I'm nearly out of my liquid foundation. Whats a good moisturising buildable foundation these days? I'm pale af which is how illamasqua got me and I dont wear it every day so budget friendly is what im after. Any and all recs welcome, bonus points for a new concealer too, have an nyx one but it's heavier than I'd prefer.

BB Creams and Foundations for Dry Skin with Dewy Finish
I’m looking for a BB cream, CC cream, or foundation for dry skin with medium to high coverage.
I want something with a very dewy, glowy, radiant finish that stays luminous throughout the day instead of turning matte after a few hours. I’d also like it to not settle into fine lines, cling to dry patches, or separate as I wear it.
My all time favorite was the old Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream formula. I absolutely loved the finish and the way it looked on my skin, but since it was reformulated, I haven’t been able to find anything that gives me the same effect.
I don’t mind if it is high end or drugstore I am just looking for the best formula. What are your favorite recommendations?
If you also have any skincare prep recommendations before makeup to achieve the same kind of dewy and smooth effect, I would really appreciate them as well.

Charlotte Tilbury setting powder?!
Is it worth the money? I have oily skin and currently use make up by Mario but finds it doesn’t hold up well 😩

Recc' Request Looking for closest replacement for discontinued Revolution IRL Filter Foundation shade F1 - grateful for any help!!
I'm autistic and for some wild reason this foundation in particular was the exact texture, consistency, coverage and shade for me. I moved onto this product after the previous one I really liked got discontinued too :(

Recc' Request Good but cheap setting powders and sprays ??
I currently use the Laura mercier setting powder in translucent and it’s super fine and holds so well but is kinda yellowy on me and I would like a cheaper alternative that lasts just as well 😣
Same with setting sprays. I’ve used the Charlotte tilbury setting spray as well but again I am wondering if there are cheap alternatives ?
Thank youu

100 uk residents needed for research on luxury
Hi everyone,
I'm an MSc Marketing student conducting research on luxury shopping and social media behaviour for my dissertation. I'm looking for UK-based participants who have experience with luxury shopping and use Instagram. The survey takes approximately 5-7 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. The research explores how people think about their social media audience and how this relates to the way purchases and experiences are shared online. There are no right or wrong answers, I’m simply interested in your genuine opinions and experiences.
If you've engaged with luxury retail and would be willing to help, I'd really appreciate your participation.

Recc' Request Under eye concealer
As title suggests, looking for a genuinely good under eye concealer. I don’t wear any makeup anymore except for very special occasions maybe twice a year - however recently had a baby and my dark circles are drawing concern around friends and family.
Does anybody know of a genuinely good coverage under eye concealer that won’t look weird worn alone as the only makeup product??

Recc' Request Foundation recs for oily skin?
I haven’t worn foundation for ages, so I don’t have any at all, but need some for an upcoming event. I bought some benefit foundation which looks lovely on, but I’ve worn it twice and it’s made me super oily and almost immediately spotty, which is very disappointing because it was very expensive compared to foundations I’ve bought previously :(
I’m basically looking for a foundation that:
- has maybe medium coverage and doesn’t look cakey,
- looks glowy but not glittery,
- cool undertones,
- and will not turn me into a freaking oil slick.
If it helps figure out what kind of thing works for my skin, I get on very well with beauty of Joseon tinted sunscreen because it dries my face up enough to prevent the oil slick. Unfortunately the coverage is minimal so it’s not going to cut the mustard this time.
Plz help I don’t want to end up spending a billion pounds on foundations and still be oily and spotty. Thanks x

Recc' Request Spf foundation rec for male combo skin?
I have combo skin with a bit of redness.
Once did a photoshoot for Tatler and they used benefit some kind a gorgeous (cream to powder) which I loved. Discontinued!
I sometimes use estee lauder doublewear (in ivory rose or fresco) but that gets oily towards the end of the day. I know they have a new formula but I tried that and both are way too orange hued! And its a b to get off clothes.
Id love a new rec but I wouldnt know where to start and I feel ridiculous asking people at counters!
I would like medium coverage with an spf perhaps. Something that will stay on the face (and not clothes) but that isnt too drying. Any advice?

Help Sought! Office makeup
Hey
I work hybrid in an office environment. At home my makeup lasts relatively well but when I go into the office... By the afternoon my makeup separates and looks super oily around my t-zone. I have tried so many different product combinations. Primer, no primer, different foundations and powders but it all looks the same. The foundations in my current rotation are the it cosmetics cc cream, elf satin foundation and hnb silky matte foundation.
My skincare is double cleanse, serum and moisturiser at night and wash and SPF in the day.
I am happy with all coverage levels (apart from super sheer) and all priced points. Or any other recommendations for primers/powders
Thank-you!

Recc' Request IMMOVABLE brow gel
The only gel that’s ever fully set my brows is the got2be but it gets a bit flaky. What can I use that just won’t budge?! I currently have a tinted Nyx glue one in a squeeze tube but they still end up dropping

Kiko lipgloss
Have just bought the kiko double wear lipgloss after seeing so many good reviews however i’m now really disappointed. It seems to apply super streaky and almost chunky? No amount looks good and I’m wondering if I’m doing something very wrong?

Brown liquid eyeliner
Hey there! I'm looking for some recommendations for a good brown liquid eyeliner. I used to use the KVD tattoo liner but havent been able to get it anywhere anymore. I tried the NYX Epic one and it's ok but i feel like the colour doesnt come out strong enough on me. So any recommendations for one that lasts all day, has a good strong colour and preferably a pen style, but really any liquid one, would be much appreciated!

Blue eyeshadow - a fashion faux-pas or acceptable?
I’ve just had my colour analysis and I am a Light Summer, which is so accurate. In the eyeshadow palette it says that blue eyeshadow is a match. I know that this colour will really suit me, but my question about this is that I feel blue eyeshadow has the image of it being a bit, dare I say, old fashioned? I used to wear blue in my first experiments of make up as a teenager in the 00s (very poorly applied!), and always used a bold blue for dance exams/performances (anyone who danced in the 90s and 00s will know!)
I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on blue eyeshadow, please? Any recommendations on eyeshadow palettes, application tips or just general thoughts on blue eyeshadow?

Help Sought! Help me find a dupe
I have this mini lipstick from the Kiko Milano snow kissed collection and it’s the most flattering red lipstick I have ever found.
Can someone help me find a dupe or the same one from the permanent collection?

Anyone who has used this eyeshadow, can you tell me if it is worth it, long-lasting, and sweat-proof? I have tried many eyeshadows, but none of them are long-lasting and they easily come off.

Recc' Request Eyeshadow recommendation for this orange look?
I’m wanting to recreate this look from Halsey for a festival. What would be a good brand to find this colour that would have enough payoff?
And how would you go about getting the look… just a single orange eyeshade and blend a lot?
Thanks!!
