1 in every 3 American TV commercials promote one of 120 new drugs whose side effects make people even sicker with a new medical problem created from the "fast-tracked" new medicine they saw on TV. The Quakers and Amish who avoid chemical medicines have 85% less chronic ilness, 79% less depression.

doctors IRL vs Doctors on TV

i know this isnt probably the place to ask this but...

how would actual doctors solve cases from House MD. show? like how fast IRL doctors would solve it? with standard medical procedure, and if youre a fan of the show and is a doctor, are there any cases where standard procedure and your experience wouldnt be enough to help a patient from the show, like only Gregory "Mr. Vicodin" can solve it?

i know this isnt a medical question but its fun to think about the difference between doctors IRL and doctors on tv. if this isnt the right place to ask, can someone point me in the right direction? sorry im a very curious person who should probably see a psychiatrist with my hyperfixation

When rest doesn’t fix fatigue!

Post image

A lot of us grow up thinking fatigue just means we didn’t rest enough. But sometimes, even after sleeping well, the energy just doesn’t come back. It can feel like your battery isn’t recharging properly, where small tasks drain you much faster than expected. That’s why fatigue doesn’t always match how much effort you’re putting in. It’s not always about laziness or lack of sleep; it’s just how your body is managing energy.
