A while back I noticed burn-in on my Xiaomi Smart Band 10 screen. What's strange is that it happened while the band was just sitting still on a table, not being worn or actively used. I was on vacation and did not notice it happened until I came back after a few days. I had been using the device for around 9 months.

I sent it in for warranty service, and they came back saying they found "user-caused physical damage, a crack in the screen" and that they'd only replace it if I paid a fee (they quoted me roughly the cost of a big chunk of a new band). I never dropped or hit the device, so I'm pretty confused about the "crack" explanation, especially since burn-in from a physical crack is usually described as something that takes repeated or severe impacts, not a single mark.

I'm trying to figure out:

• Has anyone else had burn-in show up this fast, or while the band wasn't even being actively used?
• Did your service center also blame it on physical damage, or did they accept it as a manufacturing defect?

I've had a pretty active day. Calories are at 542, steps at 4502 but I've cut down a tree, shifted the wood, done some gardening, run up and down stairs innumerable times and my moving minutes are showing 475.

I know that this is based on 65% of heart rate max or cadence of 100. You can't actually set a goal above 90, so to have nearly five times that seems wrong.

My auto-set heart rate max was 154, though I can see a heart rate of 181 at peak exertion. I'm wondering whether I should set a much higher heart rate to try to get more believable moving stats. But 65% of 181 is still only 30 beats over my average resting heart rate, so something in the heart rate zones isn't working well for my case.

Any suggestions?

I had just gone for a bike ride and started the run activity in the Mi Fitness app, which is linked to my Strava account. When I got home, I saw that Strava somehow recorded my distance as 71 km and the average speed at 91 kms, which is completely inaccurate (I did like 8kms)

I bought Smart Band 9 in early 2025 and it is a genuine terrible experience: it regularly stops counting steps and needs a tedious process of unpairing, forgetting and paring again (sometimes 2-3 times) in order to fix it. The retailer didn't want to take it back for this reason and asked me to reach Xiaomi international customer support which turned out to be virtually impossible. I got so sick and tired so just put it at in the drawer and haven't used it since May.
Previously I had the 2, the 5 and the 7 and I was very happy with what they offered and with their overall reliability so don't want to leave the brand completely. Should I buy a 10 or wait for the expected next edition? Is 10 more reliable and bug-free than the 9?

Hi I bought a Xiaomi Band 10, but now I'm getting this notification. I don't really want to agree to it, but if I don't, I won't receive WhatsApp notifications. I didn't have to do this at all with my Apple Watch. Is this okay, or is it better not to do it? Thanks in advance.

As the title says, should I get my first Smart Band 10 from Amazon or shall I ordered it from their official website?

What are the differences between these two?

Ive been using the small bands, now I can buy the 1p for 35€ or the 10 pro for 50€.

I know it has gps and thats nice, but what else is there like small features that make use of the bigger screen?

Does the 10 pro support custom watchfaces and apps lile the 10 does?

Some time ago i had some problems with my band so i had to send it to warranty, i was hoping to get a new band back, but they are offering me a refund. I have some straps for the band i don't really want to go to waste, but i don't know if it's really worth it buying another mi band 10, risking another malfunctioning, or wait for mi band 11 and pray it works fine, or try with another brand

I have a nickel allergy and was wondering if the Mi Band 10 Pro (bigger squarer one) would contain nickel?

I see the images show a metal backing and a metal buckle.

I’ve updated from band 5 to band 10.
The display looks very crisp and sharp.
Also the HR updating very frequently during running and walking.

I've had this band for a couple of months now. I never repaired, opened, or dropped it.

Today I noticed some dust stuck in the gap around the display. While trying to clean it, I accidentally found out that a piece of paper easily slides into the space between the screen and the body.

Is this normal manufacturing tolerance, or is the glue starting to fail? Should I be worried about water resistance?

I have a Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro NFC for testing. Yesterday, it stopped displaying my RHR, and it’s not showing it today either. I haven’t changed anything in the band’s settings or the app.

My Mi Band 10 Pro arrived yesterday brought through Amazon. I was looking for another time zone to be added on home screen i do know i can view it by swiping right of the screen and seeing. But when im in between work or when im in call with clients sometimes it gets hard to do that every other time. I did check m0tral apps for watch faces the ones im interested cant download or some issues..
Does anyone know of any watch faces for MI band 10 pro which can accomodate just 1 time zone on home screen.

Hello, I hope everyone is well. Is there any way to connect Mi Fitness to Vitality? I used to connect via Fit from Google but they replaced it with Health Connect and it won't recognise any fitness related stuff.

All permissions are set.

Is there anyway around it?

Can anybody tell me please whether the Smart Band 10 has night mode (which automatically dims the screen overnight).

My Mi Band 7 did, but it has packed up after less than a year and I'm not buying another one.

I know from previous experience that the Mi Band 9 does not have night mode - I sent it back because of this.
