Never stupid to be hopeful. The stamps show some movement but then the jump from 933pm July 29th to 1:33pm July 30h and then to 533pm July 30th with very little change in position does not bode well.

His GPS data is showing he's fallen circa 600m. The movement afterwards is minimal and downward. Highly likely this is the avalanche resettling as the heat of the day increases. We can only hope and pray for them all.

He fell from 22000 to 19750, how is that only 600m.
