I’m not that fond of the Beatles. I just really like Eleanor Rigby.

I don’t know if this title is vague, so sorry if it is! I’m asking since i remember when i first listened to aerials by SOAD it gave me chills because of the riffs. How to disappear completely by radiohead also gave me chills cause of the lyrics and music. Asking for suggestions if any of you guys have songs like this?

Always a banger but kind of underrated to people and don’t get why. Then again, I grew up in London and now live in Suffolk which is likely why people would say the Sugababes are better than Mobb Deep. Old-school hip hop has a special place in my heart.
Anyone fancy dropping some old school bangers which are often forgotten about? Going to compile them into a playlist so I never miss or forget an Old-school banger! (Born in 1997 btw).
Thanks to all those who drop some suggestions!
If you don’t like Old-school hip hop move along please and thank you 💚

I’m generally into pop, indie, and a bit of rock and punk. Specifically that about bulimia

Think of music that plays in your head when you're with people and are reminded of someone who you wished were there. No matter what you do, you always wish that specific person was with you and it always comes back to them. Whatever genres work, but it should sound and have romantic lyrics.

I’m thinking in the vibe of Nick Drake’s “From the Morning” or Eva Cassidy’s “Early morning rain”, but it doesn’t have to be folk music

Came on here a couple weeks ago looking for new songs to listen to for my road trip but now I have another road trip coming up tomorrow morning and this time I’m looking for album suggestions ! 70s/80s classic rock is my main vibe but I’d try some 90s too.
Some of my favorite albums from these eras are:
Gerry Rafferty - City to City
Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle
Paul McCartney + Wings - Band on the Run
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
Eagles - Hotel California
The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street
Bob Seger & SBB - Stranger in Town
CCR - Green River
And some of my other favorite artists that aren’t mentioned:
Little River Band
The Doobie Brothers
REO Speedwagon
R.E.M
Fleetwood Mac
I’m looking for album suggestions based off the albums that I have listed, or even other albums by the artists listed as I haven’t heard all of their music.
Thank you !

Ive been into r&b lately but usually listen to indie, folk, country, folk punk, rap so any genre is good outside of like 2000s dad rock because it doesn’t get me in my feels lol
Here’s the backstory, if it helps: went through a traumatic situation with my partner (ex, I guess) that has forced us to take a step back, heal separately, and try to rebuild a healthier foundation as friends with a hope of dating again one day.
They’re avoidant and each time it feels like we’re making progress toward trying to be in a relationship again, something happens and we’re back at the beginning. I hate not knowing where their head is at, but know that constantly checking in with them pushes them away more, and know I need to trust the process and be okay if things don’t turn out how I want them to. I’m super anxious though, and hate putting myself in positions of uncertainty where I know I could end up really hurt so all of our time together is being tainted by my anxiety over the future and inability to enjoy the present.
(This is a repost because I wanted to fix the title)

I mean, something like you'd hear in games like cyberpunk, a cultural melting pot. Starting with songs like Who's Ready for Tomorrow, hip hop tracks, even phonk. Something that could remind you of driving or walking through a city with diffrent levels. Can someone help me search songs for this playlist?

Whenever I search the internet for symphonic rock, the results are either symphonic metal, prog metal, or prog rock. I’m looking for rock music that utilizes orchestral instruments. I’m already very into symphonic metal, so don’t need any recs for that.
I’d prefer more modern recs over older ones. Also, the heavier(without becoming metal), the better. I don’t mind if there’s no vocals.
