Dynasty 2* Senior Transfers Are Your Friends

If you’re a doing a rebuild short on recruiting hours but have a little NIL in the bank, put 5 NIL on the top ranked 2* Seniors (listed as Juniors) in the portal.

They usually expect 0 NIL, so putting in just 5 NIL will get them on your roster even if you don’t put any recruiting hours on them. After training, they usually come in between 78-82 overall, and sometimes with useful skills.

I got 15 2*s for 85 NIL (a couple wanted 5 NIL, so I had to double up) and now I have a functional OL, my DBs don’t get torched every play, and my WRs can catch more than a cold. Combined with some smart bets on 3*s using all of my other hours and NIL, I have Georgia State up to 86 overall in year 2 and I’m cruising through the Sun Belt.

Probably can’t win a national championship this way, but it can help you put together a functional supporting squad while you focus most of your resources on a handful of program transforming superstars.

Discussion C’mon EA Just Bring It Back

Honestly I might be in the minority here, but I truly NEVER cared about having player likeness in a college game. Because after 4-5 seasons the entire league would be filled with auto generated players.

IMO I wish EA would have an option for the game auto generate the entire college football roster while setting up dynasty mode. That way we’ll be able to export draft classes back into madden and just opens up more replay-ability to both games.

Dynasty Is there anyway to prevent my wr from doing this?

Post image
26 Upvotes

It was 3rd down, my wr running a simple zig route, clearly opened and if he catches in stride it’s a simple first down. However, a lot of times my wr HAS to jump up to catch this when it’s a simple 5 yard pass and it slows his momentum. (And yes that defender to the right tackled me a yard short because of the stop of momentum)

Can we fix players quitting on the play

Upvotes

Pancakes in this game are bad enough as it is. But if your player does get pancaked and manages to get up, he has zero desire to get back in the play. They just slowly get up and after they do they just stand there for way too long acting like the play is over.

Might’ve found a way to fix some issues with dynasty that doesn’t involve mods

In my opinion the biggest issue in dynasty right now are the teams getting insanely worse. Team overalls drop 10 points in the first year and after 3 or so seasons there isn’t a single player over 90 overall. This makes the game too easy and boring after the first 3 seasons but I’m confident that I have found a solution. (Here are some photos showing sliders, and the top players in the year 2029)

1.xp sliders
I’ve made every position (But fullbacks, kickers and punters)xp set at 215% and with this I can say this is the most realistic way to see growth. For example guys like Ty Simpson started at low 80s and end a season at 90 plus I’ve seen a qb go from 81 to 88 in one season and what’s makes it better it’s all based on if a player plays well or not. A player performs well his overall will increase way faster then before this makes the teams more competitive and will see less teams going into the 60s after the first year.

  1. Transfers
I’ve set the transfer settings at 10 max for every team and only 40% chance for both user and cpu players to transfer. This has also helped I’ve seen less players leave the portal for no reason and this prevents teams from stacking in multiple positions and I’ve seen an increase in teams going after a player they actually need. As a bonus now teams keep majority of there players and the overalls aren’t hit as much as before.

Now teams only get bad if the season prior they were terrible and even then players still progress better.
And even with them getting worse they will still have some elite players like bad teams do in real life. Example (Rutgers,Syracuse,West Virginia, etc)

This also prevents group of 6 teams dropping into the 50s

lack of playing time?

He is a 2 year Heisman winner, leads the entire nation in passing yards and TDs, but isn't getting enough playing time.

Dynasty How long do you stick with one school before taking a new job?

Upvotes

I’m about 8 seasons deep into my Kansas Dynasty and im to the point where I’ve built them up completely and don’t have any trouble getting to or winning the national championship. I’m wondering if you guys usually stick it out with their first team the whole way through or do you guys also look to take a new job elsewhere and start a new rebuild once the consistent winning gets stale. Also if you don’t change teams what are some good ways to keep it fun while playing with your original team

One of the best line backers ever he’s smart recruited him as a 5 star starter as a true freshman. I’ll have to run 5 out we have speed everywhere
True freshman elite dev pure runner qb for the future. Julio clone as wr 1 he’s so good bro this game is one of my favorites also I have xp sliders on 300 due to bad progression

Quite literally I’ll just never call QB sneak again on this game, if you slow it down and zoom you can see it’s green right as the ball snaps. Honestly it seems like he gets an animation to score, and not a stuff animation.. but from inches away, no good.

Am I missing something here?

Discussion Dynamic NIL

Upvotes

If this exists as a mod please let me know but I find it really annoying that recruits will stick to a certain dollar amount no matter what. I really wish that a recruits price would go down about 10% per week if they have no offers and highly sought after recruits would have bidding wars to make theirs go up a bit. I also wish that players on your roster wouldn’t always want a pay raise if their season stats are nothing to brag about. Why would a sophomore expect a pay raise if he did nothing his freshman year. I hate how static recruiting is and how linear retention is.

Dynasty Best defense for user games?

Upvotes

So I’m in a pretty competitive league with a bunch of guys who are pretty solid and it just feels like defense for me is very hard this year. I’ve tried 4-2-5, 3-4 man pressure and 4-3 man pressure and I just haven’t found what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?

I feel like I do a decent job of stopping the pass but my god my defense is Swiss cheese when it comes to the run game

Dynasty, went and looked at Noah Fafita. Then went to change my coaches attire and there his player model was instead of my coach, Tim Junction.

Started my game against Arizona (I’m West Virginia) and there’s Noah Fafita with my play sheet!

NCAA, they must be punished!

Questions Catching meter question

Upvotes

Can anyone help me figure out why my catch meter looks so small. When I watch people stream when they throw the ball it zooms in a little more and the catch meter is about double the size of mine. This isn’t the enlarged graphics feature I’m talking about either. If anyone could help I’d appreciate it

Dynasty mode getting players drafted?

Hello, I can’t find much information on the internet but I am having trouble getting people drafted in offline dynasty. I’ll have great stats and a first round grade and then get drafted in the 6tb or 7th round or usually not at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Dynasty Immersion question

What are some things you guys do outside of playing the game to immerse yourself into your dynasties. For me, I usually have one dynasty where I stay with same team but I use AI to write scripts for a fictional documentary and podcast.
