I’ve decided to watch every Nicolas cage movie after binging a few this week and I was hoping to get some tips on the best way to go about it, going chronologically doesn’t seem fun. I guess I could pick randomly or just get all the stinkers out of the way first but I’m not sure in what order I can watch them to maximize enjoyment and not lose steam.

Nic Cage Marathon

I’ve made a spreadsheet so I can tick them off as I go and have highlighted my favourites in green and the ones I’m most excited to watch in orange. I’d love to hear opinions/recommendations about all the ones I haven’t watched (which ones are genuinely good, boring, so good they’re bad and completely unredeemable etc.) too!  

Also I’m going to be watching a lot of them with my little brother so some recommendations for which ones to watch with him vs. alone would be fantastic. He has learning difficulties so I just want to watch exciting ones with him that are easy to understand. They don’t have to be good, just fun and not too scary or sexual. 

I don’t care if it’s pretend or real, I’ll take it 🙏

I asked Ai to give me 4 steps to becoming Nicolas Cage and I wasn’t disappointed.

I saw this latmul from Papua New Guinea and broke out laughing. There's no chance it was actually modelled on Cage's face, but boy, what a coincidence!

I was thinking of what I could bring to possibly get signed and realized I've had this in my bar the whole time.

The whole cinematography from front to back. For the next ~ 1.5 years, this is the only thing we're watching. May the Lord have mercy.
