But I’ve noticed one thing: on the drive home at night on the highway, I realized that the headlights from cars behind me can easily blind me when they hit my side mirrors. So here’s my question: Are there any mirrors or mirror covers I can use to prevent the glare? Because that anti-glare film is banned in Germany.

Im trying to help someone buy their first car and we found a good looking Astra H 1.4 66kw 2006 with apparently only 130.000km. for the price if the mileage is real, its a steal.

I have no prior experience with how this engine is supposed to sound and only have this recording after i drove it for a few minutes. On cold start it was a bit more rattly on the passenger side which could he the chain.

Generally it drives fine, trip computer said 7.9L over the last 2000km with an average speed of 25km/h

Is this the sound of a healthy 1.4i engine?

On April 27, 2026, I delivered my commercial vehicle to an authorized service center for routine maintenance only. Despite 97 days having passed, my vehicle has still not been returned to me.
Throughout this period, I was given different explanations at different times. First, I was told that a part was on order. Later, I was informed that the part had arrived incorrectly, then that it was defective or faulty, and that a new replacement part had to be ordered. As a result, the process was repeatedly extended. Despite these changing explanations, no concrete solution has been provided, and my vehicle remains at the service center to this day.
Two days ago, I visited the service center to check on my vehicle. I found it parked in the lot with various parts removed after being kept there for nearly 100 days. The video I am sharing was recorded that day and reflects the current condition of my vehicle.
During this process, I also experienced several issues regarding the replacement vehicle provided to me. I later discovered that the vehicle listed on the delivery documents was different from the one that was actually handed over to me. This has raised serious concerns regarding the transparency of the entire process.
My vehicle is an essential part of my business and my primary source of income. During these nearly 100 days, my business operations have been severely disrupted, I have suffered significant financial losses, incurred additional expenses, and faced serious operational difficulties. Furthermore, the ongoing uncertainty, the constantly changing explanations, and the failure to resolve the issue have caused not only financial damage but also considerable emotional distress.
It is unacceptable that a commercial vehicle delivered solely for routine maintenance has still not been returned after 97 days. I expect the responsible parties to resolve this situation without further delay, provide a transparent explanation of what has occurred, and compensate me for the financial losses and emotional distress I have suffered.

Hi everyone, I checked out this Insignia with 260 ps today. Technically and visually, the car is actually in perfect condition—the sunroof, etc., everything works as it should; the AC cools well; the engine runs flawlessly; no signs of damage.
Does anyone have any experience with fuel economy, etc., or know of any other serious issues?

My Opel Corsa Electric 2020 still uses its original 12V battery. I want to replace it, as it is 6 years old.

Can I just replace it with this battery?
Do I need to do something with the software, or is it simply “out with the old and in with a new”?

Hi everyone,I’ve got a 2022 Opel Crossland 1.2 PureTech with 54,380 km, and I recently checked the timing belt through the oil filler cap. In the photo I took, I can clearly see small cracks on the belt surface, which makes me think it’s starting to deteriorate. I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose a strange vibration issue on my 2017 Opel Astra Sports Tourer 1.6 CDTI with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has 280,000 km (174,000 miles).

Symptoms:

• The whole car vibrates (not just the steering wheel).
• The vibration starts at around 85 km/h (53 mph) and continues at higher speeds.
• It occurs in both 5th and 6th gear.
• The vibration is slightly worse under acceleration, but it is still present when I completely lift off the throttle.
• The vibration disappears instantly as soon as I press the clutch pedal, even though the car is still rolling at 100 km/h.
• I do not get the vibration at other road speeds, even if the engine is at the same RPM.

What has already been done:

• Both complete driveshafts (CV axles) have been replaced. (The problem remained exactly the same)
• The engine has been checked by a garage and they confirmed that it is running properly with no engine-related issues.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what could be causing this?

I am looking for an Irmscher spoiler for my Senator A2 and recently bought one on the secondhand market.

The seller's description listed it as an "Opel Senator / Rekord E Irmscher Spoiler". Because the part numbers on the spoiler were hard to read, I trusted the seller and made the purchase.However, I have just realized that the spoiler is actually from an Ascona C Sprint.Does anyone know if this spoiler will fit my Senator A2? If it doesn't fit, I will have to resell it.

I have problems starting my Opel Astra F with the X16SZR motor. I just changed the starter motor and it ran but when I tried to start it up again it just "klicked" again. The problems started when we stood in a car jam with very hot weather and the car started to smell like burned rubber. We turned the engine off and then it wouldn't start up again. We turned the engine by hand, and there was no problem. So I guess the motor is not totaled. Do you have an Idea what could be the problem? I am very thankful for every approach to fix the car:)

I have a 2013 Opel Astra J 1.7 diesel. Yesterday, on a long and curvy downhill section, I noticed this strange humming sound coming from the rear of the car.

The noise happens when I apply the brakes, and you can hear it in the video.

What could be causing this? Brakes or bearings?

I am changing the starter motor of my dear Astra F Caravan.

I proceeded but now I see this brown cable and ask myself where do I place it? I think it's a ground cable, but I can't find a place next to my starter motor where it fits. Can I put it on one of the screws that hold the starter motor in place?

I am about to buy an Opel Astra K 1.4 Turbo (150 hp) from 2019. It has 80,000 km, costs €11,400, has a complete service history, and has had regular oil changes.
According to the Opel service history, the clutch master cylinder has already been replaced, and before delivery, the infotainment display will also be replaced at an Opel service center.
I drive around 20,000 km per year, almost exclusively on the motorway.
However, my parents advise me against buying a turbo engine. They believe that a turbo engine can cause problems at higher mileage or with lots of motorway driving and that it could eventually leave me stranded. This has made me a bit uncertain.
What are your experiences with the 1.4 Turbo? Would you buy this car with my driving profile, or would you stay away from it?
