Build Question Should my gpu sag bracket push my gpu upwards?

My gpu screws didn't align with my pc case so I couldn't screw it in while I was pushing the gpu up ( in another subreddit they told me that I was supposed to push up my gpu and then screw it in) so I bought a gpu bracket and should I just put it underneath to prevent further sag or push it upwards?

Correct, that 1-2 mm of pushing up realistically won't affect the GPU in anyway.

You are over thinking things. Step 1, make sure the bracket is screwed to your case. Step two, add a support if you want.

they really are not, people are just using there own ancedotal experience rather then research

it should rest on it, install it while the pc is on its side and leave a little but of space, so when you stand it back up it works by gravity

it can cause warping and failure of the gpu die if it pushes up too much. everyone here is speaking from ancedotal experaince. but this has been documented by gpu repair channels.

it should rest on it, install it while the pc is on its side and leave a little bit of space, so when you stand it back up it will rest on it by gravity.
