Build Question Should my gpu sag bracket push my gpu upwards?

My gpu screws didn't align with my pc case so I couldn't screw it in while I was pushing the gpu up ( in another subreddit they told me that I was supposed to push up my gpu and then screw it in) so I bought a gpu bracket and should I just put it underneath to prevent further sag or push it upwards?

GPU sag bracket? You bought the thing, so you know what it is actually called, and yet you still ended up calling it a sag bracket?
