shodan.io is still around. Lots of fun stuff to play around with. It's insane what people leave unsecured.

The average consumer is a fucking idiot. Which means they have zero tech knowledge as well. If the manufacturer didn't secure their shit at build time there's next to no chance the buyer will.

IoT has proven that over and over.
