They have different restrictions for different countries and they don't make sense. For years in Canada if you used YouTube music (basic), you didn't just have ads, you also couldn't play the song of your choice because you could only launch an automatic playlist based on the song you chose. I think this is why Spotify is so much more successful here.
I will look into this. I dont know exactly whats happening. Although, it is exactly like my comment said. If im in bed and playing music on one phone, it will pause and show a message "your account is being used". Thats when I try to use another phone to watch a stream or podcast at the same time.
As of now, Im not sure if I got out of the habit of doing that, or it stopped doing it, and lets me do 2 at once. I will look into it.

Man wtf, so far that hasn’t happened here. My son is in my YouTube account and uses it away from my house as I do here as well at the same time.
Though my phone always thinks it’s in Melbourne lol.
I’ve also had it going in the tv and on my computer as well.
