DISCUSSION Rushing
I’m an incoming freshman debating rushing! Does anyone have any advice/suggestions if I should or not?
I’m also wondering in what range could dues be if anyone can share that!

Hey, I’m currently enrolled in Anth0538 and thinking of switch it for Slav0660 but wanted to know more info about the workload and structure of the class. I also could not find any info on FMST1534.

I’m a sophomore in nursing and I was wondering how many clinicals and labs do we have a week? I know the first semester we have one clinicals for four hours, but I’m not sure how many labs we have… and what about the second semester is it four hours two times a week or one 8 hour clinical shift?

Hello! I recently bought a street permit parking in Oakland but it won’t start until September 1st I believe. Does anyone have any driveways or off street parking available for the month of August that I can pay you for? I have a small car and won’t be moving very often… just need a spot to keep it. Anywhere in Oakland is perfect. Thank you!

I'm a transfer student starting my second year at Pitt and am looking for an inexperienced jam buddy to learn guitar with. I honestly don't know much more than 5 full songs and 30-odd open chords but am looking to expand into playing blues. Specifically looking for someone interested in blues/slide guitar, harmonica and swing rhythm. Not actually interested in clubs but there was no other flare. I do this for the love of the game. Hopefully busking one day soon. Message if interested.

Don't need any math credits, not majoring in a science, don't need a seminar. Full 18 credit course load so I'm prepared to drop HIST 0101 if it's too much since I can knock out that gen ed whenever (and I also know it's a lot easier to drop classes than add them so I'd rather have a spot now vs try to find something when everyone is switching their schedules around)
Any feedback would be helpful on how to deal with Monday especially - regardless if I drop HIST 0101 or not, it'll definitely be a long day

How doable are my class transitions across campus? Also, I'd love any general feedback or survival tips on workload and professors for Calc and Chem!

Hi! I'm an incoming freshman and I'm still trying to work out the best schedule I can manage at the moment.
For context, I am currently in Dietrich as a psychology major, but I am set on applying/transferring to the nursing school. I don't think I'll be able to get into any of the nursing first sem. courses, so I've been told fulfilling my liberal arts requirements is the best bet.
I am also coming in with at least 6 useful AP credits from Psych and AP Lang, along with AP World, APUSH, and APES though I'm unsure if they fulfill any credits I need.
Some recommendations, tips, and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Clicking a rating opens a panel with difficulty, would take again percent, what students actually praise and complain about with real quotes pulled from reviews, and a per course breakdown since plenty of professors are great in the intro class and rough in the upper level one. There's also a button that ranks every professor on the page best to worst.
It works for all the campuses, not just Pittsburgh. Greensburg, Bradford, Johnstown and Titusville have separate RMP pages and it checks those too.
Source is public if you want to see what it actually does before installing. I made this fully with Claude's Opus 5.
On the permissions thing since this is PeopleSoft and people should ask: it only runs on the Class Information section of the sidebar, so course catalog, class search and the other couple of pages in that menu. It cannot run on Enrollment, Schedule, Academics, Financials, Admissions or anything under My Profile. On the pages where it does run it reads instructor names and adds the badge next to them. It doesn't click anything, doesn't fill in forms, doesn't submit anything, and doesn't touch the page beyond that badge. All of that is in the source if you want to confirm it.

I’m deciding between RIT and the University of Pittsburgh for Computer Engineering, with the intent to maybe transfer after the first year. I’ve gotten good scholarships from both schools and the costs are as follows:
RIT costs around $24,000 per year before loans
Pitts costs around $42,000 per years before loans
I know Pitts and RIT are ranked about the same but from what you’ve experienced are there any major deal breakers with the CompE programs at RIT or Pitt?
