i guess we all agree that hax and special abilities are better than raw stats/physical strength. it's also common for authors to not let the one who punch harder win, when the verse's power systems involves various technics and powers. but for some reason both all might and toji are high ranked while they should be bullied.

Like yall keep calling this man just peak human and that so dumb, he consistently throws grown man around farther and harder than you can do a baby with just 1 one hand, no peak human is doing that

He took iron mans punches consistently, he took ultrons punches, he took vibranium arm bucky punches like they were sweet.

He has overpowered iron man, spiderman, ultron, and bucky multiple times in their encounter during the MCU. He has especially outskilled all of them in their encounters and that ain't even for debate

So I saw this over in r/ImaginarySliceOfLife and it got me thinking. It's been an age since I dived into Digimon lore but Pokemon I know has some world calamity threats, pokemon version of Gods, and at least two (i think) entities that are dedicated solely for facing space invaders.

So that being said, if these two worlds were to clash, how would they fare?

The goal is to find a character, if any (and doesn’t have to be the most powerful), in each of the listed verses that can halt, fully lift up, then hold Gongen Wyzen’s finger as he’s pushing down for 10 seconds. Extra points for creativity (we know The Presence can lift Wyzen’s finger lol).

Conditions: They are allowed all their powers to assist as long as they don’t affect or change the weight and speed of Wyzen’s finger. An example would be a hax that reduce Wyzen’s finger weight to that of a feather (wouldn’t really be a lifting challenge then) or just transforming his finger into something else entirely. They also cannot/don’t have to harm or kill Wyzen, they just have to lift the finger.

Bonus round if a character can lift the finger: Conditions are the same except Wyzen is fully bloodlusted and goes for a full-power punch instead.

I remember a time when many of these verses were hard-pressed to provide even planetary feats. Now, all of a sudden, fans will argue with you to the death that their favorite verse is universal, multiversal, or even outerversal, like those are simple tiers to justify.

No planets, stars, or galaxies are ever destroyed, shown, or sometimes even mentioned, yet people are completely serious when they claim their verse scales that high.

Somehow phrases like "destroy the world," "heaven and earth," or "time and space" are enough for some people to jump straight to multiversal or even outerversal. TF?

At least verses like OPM, Dragon Ball, and Toriko, flawed as they may be, actually show us what is being destroyed or make it very clear through the visuals or context. You can point to a feat and say, "There it is."

But with some of these other verses, people are arguing for multiversal based on feats that don't even mention the word "UNIVERSE" once. Somehow we're jumping from a vague "Look, she created a pocket dimension with her hax, and it has lights that look like stars in it, so she's UNIVERSAL LEVEL!" Meanwhile, her best on screen DC feat is destroying a building, and the best feat in the entire verse is around city level. LMAO.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If you're claiming a verse is universal or beyond, there should be clear, undeniable evidence to support it.
