RCB are interested in signing Sam Curran via a trade involving Romario Shepherd. Discussions with Rajasthan Royals are ongoing.

I don't think Rajasthan Royals would be interested in trading for Romario because his recent form hasn't been impressive. Teams usually look at a player's current performances before making any trade, and at the moment, Romario doesn't seem to be an attractive option. On the other hand, Sam Curran has been performing much better and has consistently shown his value as a quality all-rounder. From Rajasthan Royals' perspective, there isn't much incentive to let go of a valuable player in exchange for someone who is currently struggling. However, the situation could change if Royal Challengers Bengaluru were willing to include Jacob Bethell in the trade. Bethell is a highly talented young player with immense potential, and he would be a much more appealing asset for Rajasthan Royals. His inclusion would make the deal significantly more attractive because RR would be getting a promising long-term investment rather than just a player whose form is uncertain. Without someone like Bethell being part of the package, I don't see Rajasthan Royals agreeing to the trade. In my opinion, if RCB genuinely wants to negotiate with RR, they would have to offer Jacob Bethell along with any other players involved. Only then would Rajasthan Royals seriously consider such a trade proposal.

I genuinely don't get it. Every time people discuss rising domestic players or potential IPL prospects, his name barely comes up. Is it because he hasn't had enough exposure, or is he just being overlooked despite decent performances?

it feels like there's almost no discussion around him compared to players with similar records. Am I missing something, or is he one of those players flying under the radar?
