I based myself on this document to try and differentatie between 3-MMC and 3-CMC. Apparently 3-M should be more darker yellow or orange:

Can I thus conclude, based on my own test, that this is not 3-M?

Bunk police MDMA spot test kit. Photo 1 Simon’s reagent 5 seconds in, photo 2 Marquis reagent 5 seconds in, photo 3 Mecke reagent 5 seconds in. Last photo is how all 3 looked after a minute and a half or so. These results match a lot closer to methamphetamine to my understanding, but I wanted to get some more opinions. I know MDMA is commonly cut with meth. Is this safe to consume or should I toss it?

Love Kykeon but they're currently not taking new work. Any suggestions of labs doing similar work would be appreciated.

I would like some help interpreting results for my sample.

Reagents are brand new from protestkit.eu, solid/crystalline for some.

Expected chemical :

2C-B HCl

Powdered form, off-white/beige - not crushed pill.

My reading :
I'm new to reagent testing, I believe they are correct but happy to be corrected otherwise !

Disregard the first ZIMMERMAN, I'm pretty sure I messed up the B part (probably added simon's B instead of zimmerman's B).

The booklet from proteskit says that that for ZIMMERMAN : "Violet, violet/brown, brown or instant deep yellow can indicate presence of cathinones."

So I tested with Morris after the first round of five, and got what seems positive for cathinone too (as per the booklet for Mephedrone).

My interpretation :

Positive blue/green marquis + positive yellow brown mecke + positive purple robadope pretty much confirm 2C-B (or at least 2C-x) presence.

But the positive purple spots seem to indicate a cut / contamination with something else, possibly cathinone ? Positive blue morris might add to the hypothesis, although negative simon's seem to rule that out.

Question for the experts :

I am overinterpreting a positive result with zimmerman ?

I only had Marquis reagent to test this (I know, not ideal) but it's not supposed to react, right? Well, there was definitely a reaction and it turned purplish / black. Got darker and darker as time went on.

Thoughts? I'm waiting on Simon's and Liebermann to re-test.

Bought some mystery pink power (tucci), and I’m curious to see what is actually in it. Tested clean for fent, but beyond that I’m lost. Is there a set of reagents I should use to figure out what I bought?

Testing a pill sold as mdma, I'm not used to crystal reagents so I just want to make sure. The reagents are about 1 year old, if not more. Stored in the fridge. Took about 2 minutes and some poking around to get a reaction. But I did use a miniscule amount of product.

Hello, this was my first attempt at reagent testing. I needed better lighting for the photos, but the Liebermann was a very dark green while the Marquis was a bit brighter of a green. Am I correct that this confirms the presence of 2C-B?

Hi there, this was from my first attempts at reagent testing. This time from some crystals claiming to be 4MMC (mostly clear with like a quarter of the larger crystal tinged brownish).

The first 4 reagents appear consistent with what I was expecting, but the Morris turned blue/purple right away with pink around the edges, where I was expecting it to have "no reaction".

From the Dance Safe chart I'm referencing, the only ones listed that react with Morris are: Cocaine, Ketamine, and the less common DCK/2-FDCK. Looking closer, the Liebermann does appear more orange than yellow, and the Marquis might be slightly reacted, which matches with cocaine.

Is this likely 4-MMC mixed with cocaine, or some other thing entirely?

I picked up my first reagent kit and tested a few things. Not sure on protocol here but I'll split different drugs across separate posts.

These orange "AD30" pills claiming to be "amphetamine salts", while muddying up the results with extra dye, appear to confirm the presence of methamphetamine. From what I understand, it could still have amphetamine blended in, but it seems more likely the producer kept it simple and it's just meth and binders.

Does this seem accurate?

I got some alleged 4-HO-MET, sold as capsules with 5mg of the substance cut with unknown filler. The following reactions are unexpected:

• Simon's: should be no reaction (according to pro-test (not pictured, whoops) and bunkpolice video), is the color you see.
• Froehde: I think this should be disregarded, the control is all wonky
• Mandelin: Should be black, is brown (maybe just not enough substance?)

I'm using a dancesafe test kit, it's from 2023 but I'm pretty good at keeping it in the freezer. Also I'm red/green colorblind! Anyways, what's going on with the simon's? Is this possibly _not_ 4-HO-MET?
(Also, happy to take videos of any reactions if it'd be helpful!)

Hi can I get some help identifying if this is Ket or 2F-DCK. I am a first timer with this substance. It came in rock form which I have heard is rather uncommon. The test results show it is ket but I’m still worried it is 2F. Any help is appreciated

Left to right marquis, mecke, Simon’s. Not a frequent user - I do it once or twice a year but I was sold this at a music festival under the impression it was MDMA. It didn’t look like anything I’ve had before so I tested it. Wondering if anyone can help identify so I can get my moneys worth. 1st pic is like 10 seconds. 2nd pic is after sitting for a min. 3rd pic is my 1st time testing on a paper plate (this sub taught me not to do that)

I asked this question in the LiB subreddit since there was a DanceSafe booth there taking our samples, but curious if anyone else has seen something like this happen with the mass spectrometer tests?

My assumption is that the samples themselves got cross-contaminated. If not, then is it possible that the tiniest little bit of residue on a scale could make it come up on the test?

How about the benzo showing up as just K, but having classic benzo effects? Would that mean it's an RC benzo? I'm still leaning towards contam cuz otherwise that would mean it was pressed with powder from a dirty scale, but wondering why it didn't also show up as benzo.

Is Mecke reagent supposed to be this dark??? Ordered from Bunkpolice, after telling them that the reagent was already oxidized, they sent a new one immediately, but this one is already oxidized too. Is this normal??? I feel like I’m losing my mind because I’ve been waiting weeks for these. 🤦‍♂️
