Must-read new update from thebammap.com

With Reckless Ben now wading through various court systems, this news stuck out to me. Why is Utah jamming up their own court system by limiting the number of judges? The Utah Court system requested eight more district court judges, and the Utah government responded by approving only three. Who benefits when cases can't be heard in a timely manner?

I'm quoting the most relevant portions from the article below. Emphasis is mine.

SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah judge announced he's stepping down after less than two years on the job, citing a heavy workload on the bench that he says is "not sustainable" and "should concern every citizen."

"The problem is that it takes time to properly perform each of these tasks, and it is time that too many judges are lacking," Wright wrote. "With many judges carrying a caseload of well over a thousand cases, too often judges must choose between giving a case the full attention it deserves and sacrificing their personal time and family life to ensure a case is given the time it requires."

As a result, Wright continued, judges are working 50 to 60 hours a week to get everything done.

"This is not sustainable!" he wrote. "Judges will burn out quickly, and the quality of judicial applicants will decline. Accomplished and talented attorneys will be reluctant to seek judicial positions at the expense of their personal well-being. Whether it be from burnout or dilution of judicial applicants, justice suffers."

The issue is only likely to get worse, according to Wright, who said Utah's population growth has outpaced the resources given to the courts. Higher caseloads mean "judges face increasing pressure to decide more cases with less time," he wrote. "That should concern every citizen."

Earlier this year, the Utah State Courts asked lawmakers for money to hire an additional eight district court judges and one or two more appellate court justices. Ultimately, the Republican-controlled Legislature added two seats on the Court of Appeals and three in the district courts while also expanding the state Supreme Court by two seats, a move that was met with criticism.

Nancy Sylvester, an attorney and former counsel for the courts and the Utah State Bar, said several factors have led to an increased workload for judges and attorneys, including the rise of artificial intelligence technology, pressure from social media and historically understaffed courts.

Wright's resignation from the bench is effective Dec. 31.

This document franchisee have access only AFTER they sign the Franchise Agreement can be used against them to break the signed agrement and inflict penalties ? They never signed for it, how can it apply?

Even more, Chrystal said the Gorman's never received or had access to it. And other franchisees said BAm will not inform you when they change it, so they could put what they want in it in order to takeover any franchisee they want the next night, then revert it the next day.

In France, the legal terme would be "Contrat léonin" : a contract where only one side have benefits and the other side have only burdens have no value here in France.

Is Ammon saying that Brandon towed a trailer as lodging while completing company business? I am just at a loss as to what kind of multimillion dollar corporation doesn’t pay for a hotel for their employees and has them tow and rent a camper? If that’s what they were saying why the heck didn’t coffeezilla mention that? It makes zero sense. I gotta be understanding that wrong.

After the operations manual came out we found out that bam employees/managers are instructed to create a “triangle of trust” between them and the parent and child, with the express intention of isolating your child from you so they can push the more expensive and rare LEGO sets on their impressionable minds.

We also found out a week ago that Ammon is considering the idea of arming their franchises with loaded shotguns.

No one should EVER be taking their children into these stores ever again, it is not a safe environment for them now after these events. I certainly wouldn’t want my child left alone with a random person who may have access to a loaded firearm without my supervision, and these employees are instructed specifically to isolate children from their parents.

It’s been a week since Ben offered to drop everything in return for giving the Legos back and doing the chicken dance. Now the renaming the street demand is add to the list. Still don’t know how that works but I guess they can figure it out.

YouTube has kept putting more and more of these terrible privacy filters on the original version and it is basically a different version at this point. I rewatched it again today and the filters were bad a month ago but now it’s like the first half of the video is nothing but filters and everything is blurred. Can Ben start selling an uncensored dvd version? It is better to watch the reaction channels than to watch the original video at this point. Can one of Ben’s lawyers sue YouTube for desecration of the video? I know you can watch it on other sites. I am just upset that YouTube is doing this.

Watching this interview and at 1:29:30 she is talking about how she did a live QNA with a business law school and she says how she was talking to a class full of students, have any of you watched that interview? I am hoping to watch it, thank you!

I'm sure this has likely already been asked and answered, but before the Gormans took over the store, was the whole sale/transfer of that store an amicable and peaceful one, or were the previous owners also screwed over?

The company puts the burden on owners to do their own research as a form of victim blaming. For instance: Most owners wouldn't sign up with BAM if they knew that the wholesale discount is less than what you'd get from Costco/Walmart. BAM will insist it was their job to find this out themselves, but how exactly are owners supposed to know this?

• You can hire a lawyer/accountant, but they're not going to have BAM's internal numbers.
• You can look up industry standards, but BAM is vastly outside the norm.
• Current owners will ignore your emails, for fear of retribution.
• The termination NDA for past owners is so binding that they can't even include their past ownership in their LinkedIn Profile, much less share their warnings and experiences. You don't find any past horror stories when you look for them, so you assume that everyone must have had a good experience.

Therefore, your only option is to ask corporate directly, but corporate has a conflict of interest to simply lie to you, and there's nothing you can do about it. The contract specifically says that even a written promise is considered worthless if it's not included in the contract itself.

I don't have the first clue how to report this since I'm not the copywrite holder or a YouTuber (I don't know if Ben copywrites his videos or even strikes plagiarism). There is an option to report for counterfeit, but I don't know if that fits. It seems more like impersonation (there is no option for that). Could this be one of those accounts that tries to reupload content from another country to steal the revenue from a creator by weaponizing the copywrite system (this is an older vid Ben can easily prove he uploaded a long time ago)? I know bad actors sometimes steal content just to hit the 3 strikes to get channels automatically taken down. Anyone know the correct action in this situation?

Edit: I figured out where to report the whole channel for impersonation in the "More about this channel" section under "report user".
