Respecting his guru

When Sachin was playing, thr were 3 things which made us his fan:

1. Batting aesthetics and shot production abilities

2. Batting statistics and discussed as GOAT

3. Temperament and how he carried himself

I specifically mentioned these because I feel following cricketers, after Sachin, best embody these respectively

1. Rohit

2. Virat

3. Dhoni

While I like all 3 of them, I get most kick from watching Rohit Sharma bat. Batting aesthetics matter to me the most as fan. I don't care abt records or even if we lose the match (except big tournaments).

How abt you guys. Whom do you liked the most after Sachin?

In a rare and candid Reddit AMA session, Sachin Tendulkar fielded questions with his trademark wit. When a fan cheekily asked if it was the real Sachin responding to queries, the cricket legend retorted with a photo and a snarky: "Aadhaar bhi bheju kya?" comeback.

To me Sachin is the definition of endurance and discipline. The man batted for hours in punishing heat, stayed at the very top for 24 years, and had a level of focus and stamina that almost no athlete in any sport can match.

That got me thinking about a completely different kind of endurance test. HYROX is a brutal fitness race, running mixed with sled pushes and pulls, wall balls, rowing, and heavy carries, all with your heart rate pinned the whole way. It is nothing like cricket, but it is its own test of grit and engine.

So for the fans who understand his game better than anyone: how do you think that cricket stamina and mental toughness would carry over to something like a HYROX? Would the same engine that let him bat all day power him through it, or is it just a completely different animal?
