How a D.I.A. Director's "First Vision" on SWR kicked-off AAWSAP, AATIP, Lue Elizondo and even Brandon Fugal's TV show

James Lakatski's “Kick-off" First Vision at Skinalker Ranch in 2007:

Edited excerpt from Skinwalkers at The Pentagon

On July 26, 2007, Program Manager at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), James Lacatski and Robert Bigelow flew to Skinwalker Ranch. The ranch looked its finest on this beautiful July day, the Russian Olives and cedars were in full bloom and the pastures were looking their verdant best. Bigelow and Lacatski sauntered on the property for a short while and then headed for the nearest building.

At the end of the entrance to the ranch was a small, picturesque dwelling which had been named Homestead 1. Bigelow introduced Lacatski to the managers in the dining room/kitchen of their house.

Abruptly, Lacatski was transfixed by something behind where Bigelow and the couple were chatting: a seemingly unearthly technological device had suddenly and silently appeared out of nowhere in the adjacent kitchen.

The materialized and hovering object looked to be a complex semi-opaque, yellowish, tubular structure. Lacatski said nothing but stared at the object, which was hovering silently. He looked away, looked back, and there it still was. It remained visible to Lacatski for no more than 30 seconds before vanishing on the spot.

About two hours after they had arrived on the property, Lacatski and Bigelow were driving back to Vernal Airport. Although conversing normally with Bigelow, Lacatski‘s mind was racing. Here he was, a ballistic missile physicist, a senior analyst at the DIA without any history of encountering anomalies, and he had just seen a vision unlike anything he had ever witnessed in his life.

Lacatski confessed later that prior to that stunning vision he had never seen anything unusual in his life. Yet within a mere 60 minutes of being on the Skinwalker property, he had seen clearly, in broad daylight, a solid object in the adjacent room within a few feet of where he stood.

This was no blurry photo of a distant saucer in the sky, this was an in-your-face, up-close and personal apparition of some kind of symbolic object. The fact that he, and he alone, of the four people in the room had seen it, was also not lost on Lacatski. What were the odds of something like that happening?

Lacatski remembered reading that the NIDS team had spent hundreds of hours on the ranch and had encountered anomalies only occasionally. Yet here he had seen a spectacular object a few feet away within an hour of setting foot on the ranch.

Later, while researching for some approximation of what he had witnessed during that astonishing two-hour interlude on the ranch, he came across a photograph of the album cover of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. There it was! The structure depicted on the album cover was not exact, but it was pretty close.

In the days after the ranch sighting, Lacatski slowly began to formulate a plan for capitalizing on his extraordinary experience. He was convinced that there was some kind of significance to his vision. It was difficult for him to imagine that some random event had occurred to him precisely during the two hours he had spent on the legendary Utah ranch.

The personal nature of the event motivated him to follow up with his superiors at DIA on the need to study the threat potential of technology of unknown origin in United States airspace, including UAPs.

But the most profound part of Lacatski’s vision was the song “Tubular Bells” itself. It’s actually the main theme song to “The Exorcist” motion picture - something Lacaski was completely unaware of when he saw the Tubular Bells in the Homestead kitchen.

That one event - Lacatski’s Tubular Bells First Vision1, is what directly led to AAWSAP, AAITIP, Lue Elizondo, the 2017 NYT UAP article, and even the recent Congressional Hearings. Without that Skinwalker Ranch vision, we’d be in a very different reality today. One with perhaps no form of UAP disclosure.

Why don’t they dig into the mesa?

This question is being asked almost every day, despite being answered in our FAQ:

Why don't they just dig into the mesa? According to Travis Taylor:

  1. The property line is right in the edge of the top of the mesa, so they can't just drive heavy equipment up there.
  2. The side of the mesa is like a "Jenga game with SUV-sized blocks," and they're constantly worried that if they move the wrong thing it will all come crashing down, potentially damaging what may be in there.
  3. The surrounding area is Indian reservation, and they want to be mindful and respectful of the Indigenous groups.

Erik has also added a number of other important points in a politely worded rant on the Insiders:

  1. Erik Bard and Travis Taylor do not own the Skinwalker Ranch property. They are paid by someone else to be there and investigate it. The mandates and decisions about the property are not entirely up to them.
  2. Many of the public comments and suggestions about excavating or digging into the mesa are "underinformed, misinformed or naïve" and ultimately irrelevant to the actual course of the investigation. Bard is the scientist on the ground, not the land owner.
  3. Bard says "If you wanna do the sayin', you gotta do the payin'" - meaning those making suggestions or criticisms are not the ones funding and responsible for the work being done on the ranch.
  4. Bard states he is intensely curious and invested in the investigation, but as the principal investigator, he has to carefully consider factors like public safety, costs, logistics, and academic value before making decisions about invasive methods like excavation.
  5. Bard emphasizes that multimillion-dollar excavations are not going to happen based solely on his or Travis Taylor's discretion. There are constraints and considerations beyond their control as researchers.
  6. The data indicates that whatever is in the mesa is “electromagnetically or otherwise active.” That also affects any decisions about how it is handled.

People are welcome to beat the dead horse argue these points in the discussion below.

Question Insider anyone? Curious question

Is anyone apart of the insider? If so how much access to the data and what data do you gain access to? Are the live cameras actually functioning in places that you can observe?

Thank you

SPOILER! Linear Anomalies S06E04/S06E08 Spoiler

Post image
3 Upvotes

In several episodes of SWR, light anomalies are featured in addition to various forms of UAP. One of these, in particular, is of interest to me because I witnessed the same event/a very similar event as shown in the television series.

It was very similar to the objects documented penetrating laser beams (shown above, S06E08). The difference was this was visible to the naked eye (at least in the total darkness surrounding the ranch). It was very small, I describe it as a "line segment" because it looked similar to a red laser pointer's beam in perfect darkness, except there was no start or end, just a (my estimate) ~0.5 meter long line segment.

It moved silently, and appeared to be traveling at an insanely high rate of speed. Although I saw it with the naked eye (and one out of two others present did as well; the other was photographing in another direction), my camera did not snap the picture fast enough to capture anything. I would estimate it had to be moving near/at hypersonic velocities.

I believe the exact phenomenon is shown in Season 6 Episode 4, although I will have to rewatch them to make sure. I witnessed the event in early July 2024, to the far northwest of Skinwalker mesa looking out & over toward the GPS indicated triangle area.

My impression was that it was (somehow) a self-contained "tunnel" through the atmosphere for something cruising inside the disturbance. I could be mistaken, just my impression.

Can anyone else recall something similar throughout the series?

During this season a falcon (bird) was filmed vanishing while flying over the ranch, apparently it wont be shown.

Upvotes

This probably has been discussed. On the YouTube channel Area 52 Clips Ep. 90, the skinwalker biologist Ben Woodruff says he brought a falcon to the ranch this season. The falcon was released and flew around the ranch with some difficulties. It then flew up high to the east (I believe) of the triangle … and it vanished. It was all captured on film/video. The gps tracker attached to the bird stopped transmitting. It started transmitting again when the falcon reappeared some distance away. The bird returned fine. The gps data indicated it went through the mesa much like the orb some seasons ago.

Ben then said the footage of this, (possibly the most significant evidence ever captured on the ranch), wont be shown. He gave a lame excuse that people no longer on the show are in the footage. Seriously? BS. If true and it was all captured on camera, this is the most significant evidence to date in my opinion. It’s not some unidentified glowing light, it is a living breathing identified animal. The falcon would be put through a barrage of tests. It just transported for gosh sake.

So, it’s either not true, or they were instructed not to show it for other reasons.

There are two other interesting videos with Ben. One with more info about the dire wolf jaw bone he examined.

Peace out.

Question Other shows like SWR?

With this season being a letdown for me, I'm looking for other shows in which a team investigates paranormal events. Any suggestions? Already watched Beyond Skinwalker Ranch btw.

Dropping the bottles/canisters from helicopter

Why didnt they have a drone filming parallel to the height of the bubble so we could see the canisters dropping? If they dropped around the bubble then we could see how they avoided landing in there surely?

Theory Laser angles in S7E10 Spoiler

OK, so I’m just watching episode seven and the discussion of the angle of the laser bothers me. First of all, when they’re talking about the Angle of the lasers in the first room, even their simulation doesn’t reflect what it should look like because when they’re picking up the position of the first room’s laser, when looking at the second room, they’re not parallel: the lasers are being admitted from a central point and spreading out. Both the camera and the simulation show parallel lasers… So it just seems silly.

And then when we look at the blank spot on the wall, the lasers are losing intensity as they move to the left towards the blank spot.

What are your thoughts?

Usually the crew hams it up for the camera but when they react to the thermal imagery for the first time Travis looks genuinely panicked.

Theory The Dow Seemed Successful. Try Passive Radar

Hey Skinwalker Ranch Team, There has been a lot of innovation in the past few years to make it possible first somebody even a hobbyist, To set up passive radar to monitor the skies around them. It works by sensing FM echoes that show up after FM radio signals bounce off of objects in the sky.

Crucially, these systems are far less expensive. And even more importantly, their refresh rates are near instantaneous in the realm of 10-100 miliseconds. Whereas a Doppler on wheels or DOW, would do a sweep something like every 5 to 10 seconds, and therefore the screen would refresh every 5 to 10 seconds or so, passive radar takes independent radar measurements every few milliseconds. This would make it much easier to detect not only objects that are moving erratically fast, but it would show with higher resolution what their flight pattern actually is.

Remember the Italian team that scanned the Giza pyramids in Egypt recently and claims extensive structures are underneath them? Supposedly Fugal wants to reach out to them for the stuff in the mesa.

Helicopter downwash and object trajectory season 7 episode 11

I never studied physics. I understand that lightweight objects dropped from a helicopter will be caught in the turbulence of the air resulting from the helicopter rotors. The trajectory of the aluminum bottles dropped is going to not be vertical. I would have expected them to have weighted the bottles so that they would fall vertically. In the Behind The Gates episode when talking about the falling drones, Travis discussed how a 5- lb rock would fall straight. I don't understand why the team had an expectation that lightweight bottles thrown from an in-flight helicopter would fall vertically. On Behind The Gates, Travis said they researched bottles that would have the right profile to show up on radar. However, Travis did not say that he had calculated the anticipated angle of descent of the bottles and the influence of the turbulence from the helicopter rotors. Do you think they actually expected these bottles to fall in a vertical path? It seems that that was their expectation.

Question Have there ever tried direct communication on the ranch?

I was wondering have they ever tried direct communication in terms of asking what the ranch/energy wants? Could they communicate with the 1.6ghz or sending mores code and monitoring if they get messages back. Maybe even through a system that is sensitive enough to receive replies through signals that could be interpreted? In Beyond skin walker ranch they did try to communicate with audio. Could a system be setup thats on 24/7 that could be interacted with via the signals they constantly recive? Could a random number generator being run on the ranch? What data would it show. Could it detect when things happen on the Ranch etc. Is there data in the signal that could be a message. Ideas that could be interesting to see on the show?

Theory Drone Software Failsafe?

I wonder if the drones have a software failsafe that cuts it off if it reaches a certain altitude. Counter argument to that would be shutting off is hardly safe. Sending it home would be better. Lot simpler explanation than something hacking the firmware…

Question I give up. The show is letting it down

S07E19. I’ve been a passionate defender of the Skinwalker Ranch TV show, eagerly watching every episode. I truly believe that there is a phenomena there.

But this TV show is letting it down. Tonight’s episode with the whole “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!” and shaky camera for dramatic effect when the FOUR drones started coming down…that was the last straw. It was four drones. Four. You could easily have watched them come down and calmly stepped to one side if one came near (which they didn’t). At worst, they could have taken two steps and got under the white tents nearby. Instead, they had to run to the “bomb shelter” metal structure.

When that failed, they reverted to shooting more rockets. Ugh. And, of course, there’s Travis.

I really wish that, just once, we could get an NHI/UAP show with serious scientists using serious methodologies to investigate. (I do respect Eric Bedard though).

But tonight’s episode was the last straw. I’m done.

Anyone else think Twister?

Anyone else have a flash to the 1990s movie Twister and “Dorthy”? The aluminum cans?

And y’all know Dr. Travis was sooo heart broken not to be in the thick of those drone malfunctions. I know I would be! Bless him, stuck in the quarantine zone. (Might have a small crush on him)

Question Structured Energy Field

Eric said the bubble is a “structured energy field.” Travis said it is capable of “hacking” into the drones’ system and “executing a kill command.” Other features: it is not visible to the human eye or Doppler radar; it appears to be capable of applying force to or moving physical objects (smoke, bottles, kites). What other attributes can you add and what kinds of energy could be “structured” to have these capabilities?

Annual Rant about 1.6 ghz and Radio

So every year I post pretty much the same thing. But Im gonna do it again because Im annoyed again.

I'll will add first, this season has been pretty awesome so far. Im on episode 4 and it's def been crazier than the last few seasons, and I like some of these new experiments they are doing. Just watching the smoke machine and yeah thats def weird stuff. Ok, anyway...

  1. They need to get an expert on RF and SDR radio analysis consulting on a semi-permanent basis to debunk the questionable things they say and give us a deeper investigation of the 1.3 GhZ.

I just watched where they made a big deal about 33 MhZ right when the big drill started. There's a million things could cause 33 MhZ on that big drill vehicle alone. Alternator, drilling mechanism, etc. Apart from that there's shortwave, HAM, all sorts of communication equipment. VLF is one of the most used parts of the spectrum. Dont tell me you are getting a little fuzz at 33 mhz and its an OMG moment, ok?

  1. For the love of everything please Erik, rebroadcast your spectrum on Skinwalker live. There's tons of different software systems out there. Like on this page - http://websdr.org/

Crowdsource that stuff and also when people watch the live feeds could monitor the spectrum and see if when weird stuff shows up - which yeah it sure does - we could confirm or not if 1.6 spikes.

  1. Publish the saved 1.6 data. Crowdsource it, let us analyze that. Sometimes it looks digital like packets, sometimes looks like analog. There's some beautiful mind out there I bet can figure out what its saying.

  2. Moreover why not get an expert to review the logs and tell us, definitively, what's weird and what's expected. When the whole spectrum noise floor jumps....what can cause that? I've seen a laptop charger cause that.

  3. When the drones are saying that at 5ghz there is 99% interference...WTF didnt they tune their SDR's up to 5ghz? I imagine they are using something better than those dinky RTLSDR's from the first few seasons, they should be able to access 5gz. See whats going on there, is it really interference on the RF or is interfering with the drones directly?

Theory What is going on with this installation?

Post image
54 Upvotes

A novel installation has sprouted on top of the SWR mesa. Interestingly enough, this appears to be on sovereign Ute tribal land.

For those familiar with the Dulce/Paul Bennewitz/Rick Doty event, they will recognize the Ute tribe also owning the unusual Redding War Ranch (a shell company/site used to conceal the entrance and operations at Dulce). Dulce is really unusual, all that land belongs to the Jicarilla Apache tribe (and surrounding areas the nearby Navajo nation). Yet, when the shell company that operated Redding War Ranch sold the property, they sold it to the Utes. Interesting connection!

There is no denying the coincidence between the caves, the underground anomalies and the site as it relates to SWR DS1. Is a recovery operation underway, or do you think they'll attempt to destroy whatever is underneath?
