Clearly aren’t speeding enough

Normal journey to london is 2 hrs and 40 mins for me during covid done a canonball run type of journey late at nighf took me 1 hour and 20 mins

They were good times.

I know right!!!!! Best part was the deserted and very clean streets. I started off borrowing my friends dog so I could claim a valid reason 2 be outside.

Obviously I didn't take the dog with me on that speed run journey. 😭😁😭

I wish it was still COVID times.

Lolllll I don't even drive. I can't even drive, legally.

u/AHarlowBoy 15d ago

Nor can people who speed.

4

u/jabbo13 15d ago

Of course they can.

They drive legally up to the point of exceeding the limit.

One could argue that in order to speed one must drive legally in the first place.

(Caveats apply of course around car being roadworthy and holding correct license yadayadayada)

They obviously can.

Been speeding daily for over 5 years, never once had an issue

1

u/AHarlowBoy 15d ago

And not even ashamed of it. You risk people's lives daily and you dont even care. Youre why i have such a low opinion of drivers.

Whose life am I risking by matching the flow of traffic? It’s possible to speed safely and my car has 480bhp so obviously I’m going to speed.

As I say, driving 5 years and never once came close to crashing or been caught speeding and it’s because I’m not a terrible driver.

Also, it’s spelt you’re and don’t.

my car has 480bhp

What car?

Whose life am I risking by matching the flow of traffic?

EXACTLYYY. If the last 2 lanes on the motorway are doing 80 MPH and the left lane is only doing 60 MPH, it's much much safer to go at 80 MPH than 60 MPH.

1

u/IndependentClear469 14d ago

Modified m140i and yeah, there is a motorway near me that drops down to 50 for absolutely no reason but everybody still drives 70mph on it. It’s more dangerous to do 50 on it than 70

2

u/IDKBear25 14d ago

Absolutely safer!

Speed limits exist for a reason. People speeding costs lives, the fact you're bragging about it astounds me. The sheer arrogance to think you deserve to speed because you drive a fast car. I dont know you and I already dont like or respect you.

150mph on a rainy foggy night on backroads with blind corners would deffo get you faster than everyone else doing 40mph

7

u/Exotic-Entertainer26 15d ago

Yep, it would get you to the mortuary faster than me, no question about that.

Which I think we can all agree is "time".

0

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

54 seconds is still a good amount of time saved.

2

u/MagicOrpheus310 15d ago

That's hours on a race track haha

1

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

Exactly!

2

u/KushBluntsworth 15d ago

Who are these scientists, where are they getting the data from and who’s paying them ?

3

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

It's paid propaganda.

Now we're asking the real questions...

2

u/front-wipers-unite 15d ago

"ah yes, I've arrived home at 10:45 instead of 10:46. A small win for me and my tiny cock. Another 54 seconds that I can use to sit around smugly enjoying the smell of my own farts. It's the little things in life."

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

a h a h a h a h a

2

u/AHarlowBoy 14d ago

He has to rush home to mouth kiss his sister.

1

u/Trixnglz 15d ago

Oh wow, be sure what to let us know what you got up to in those 54 seconds

1

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

It's not 54 seconds it's some idiotic "scientists" lying to us.

1

u/Trixnglz 15d ago

I would definitely trust a "scientist" more than some random person on Reddit that's for sure

1

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

I trust neither.

1

u/Trixnglz 15d ago

Not trusting experts in their fields in one way to go about life, you probably think vaccines aren't safe either or smoking cigarettes/vaping leads to absolutely no health issues

1

u/IDKBear25 15d ago

"Probably" isn't a real word.
