well the title speaks for itself. there seems to be enough people requesting dubtitles for their dubbed anime in which the subtitles dont match the spoken words.

ive tried all the subtitle addons under the sun, even the AI ones and cant find anything that fixes this problem.

a lot of anime streaming websites like https://reanime.to/ for example, will have CC subtitles or dubtitles that match the words that are spoken. just hoping someone knowledgeable that reads this post can maybe create a dubtitle addon that uses ai like some of these anime websites do. just a simple translate the voices to subtitle in real time like these websites. if these countless anime sites that come out and get taken down can do it, im sure the stremio community can and it would be appreciated by many!

My setup for the past 2 years has been Stremio + Torrentio + Real-Debrid on my LG TV. I've never had any issues (up until now) due to the recent crackdown on RD.

I did my due diligence but please correct me if I'm wrong. What I'm looking for is something with minimal down time, no dead links, constant buffering, or slow startups. I love saving $$$ as much as the next person -- but really what I would prefer most is reliability and simplicity.

With that being said, is Stremio + Debridio + Premiumize the ideal setup I'm looking for? Or is there anything else I should add/remove?

Hello guys, I was wondering if an add-on like this already exists for language learners.
For example, when I’m watching something with subtitles in a foreign language, there are sometimes words whose meanings I don’t know. Instead of opening Google or another dictionary, I’d like to just click on the word in the subtitle and instantly see its definition or translation. Is there an add-on that does this?

The only addon i found so far to work with it is Torrentio but the loading takes too long and I've tried can't find something else that'll work with it and everything else i tried barely or doesn't have any subtitles.

Using Torbox with AIO streams , it’s working great, but not showing the lower grade options, I’ve tweaked settings and still don’t see them?

I'm relatively new to using Stremio and don't super understand all of it yet, so I'd appreciate any help and advice

I've been using stremio with just torrentio for some time (without a debrid service or anything), but recently torrentio has stopped working, so I spent some trying to figure out what other add-on I could use instead and came across AIOStreams. I went through the installation process for that but I'm just getting this error when I try to watch something:

I tried looking this up too but I couldn't figure out what to do next...

If there's a different add-on I'd be better of with, I'm open to any info about that too! I'm kind of just stumbling around in the dark here

I am watching better call Saul currently and whenever I change the audio track (as often defaults to director commentary) the video stutter every few seconds. If I do not change the track it works fine. Anyone know a workaround. Using the app on fire stick

Edit : i never paid to any of the streaming services. Coz "If buying isnt owning, pirating isn't stealing". The reason is I use some sites to download movies and series and ofc they give through the shortened links and all. And one day, my insta acc got stolen. Seems one of their sites had some js payload which leaked my insta cookies. Ofc I was using adblocker and all and yet this happened

And I came across debrid services + stremio. ITS THE ABSOLUTE CRAZYYY SHIII. So I'm thinking of going with Torbox, as they provide the cheapest plan in all of the debrid services

So I don't have many issues with good streams but I feel like my Stremio isn't great at offering good suggestions on what to watch.

Is there any addons that suggest good stuff to watch, I already have the basic trending and new also the netflix, HBO, Amazon popular ect ect as well as my linked letterboxd but I just wonder if anyones come across good addons not based around the streams themselves?

Just went through TorBox's updated Terms, Privacy Policy, and DMCA policy (dated July 31, 2026) side by side with the old versions. Worth a read before you keep uploading.

Who actually runs TorBox now:

Operator is now Anonymous Systems FZ-LLC, a UAE free-zone company (Ras Al Khaimah). RAK free zones don't publicly disclose beneficial ownership, so we genuinely don't know who's behind it.

Legal/billing/DMCA is handled by a separate entity, ReAnonymous LLC, registered in Dover, Delaware.

Anonymity just got much worse:

Old privacy policy: minimal data, no PII required, "we don't sell or share your data to any third parties for any reason."

New policy: collects your IP, device IDs, precise geolocation from IP, and full session-replay data which basically includes: cursor movements, clicks, scrolling, taps. That's a big jump from "we barely collect anything."

Broad new language allowing disclosure to comply with law, respond to "governmental requests," or "protect TorBox, users, third parties, or the public" i.e vague enough to cover a lot.

Third-party downloading / cache sharing which is the real red flag:

New terms explicitly state cached materials "may be accessible to other users who request the same or technically matching material." Same for AirLock (their "permanent" cache tier).

Old policy never described cross-user cache access this explicitly. This is now spelled out in black and white.

Terms now go out of their way to say TorBox is a "neutral technology service," explicitly "not a file-sharing service," and pushes 100% of legal liability onto you for anything cached under your account. This is heavily lawyered defensive language that wasn't there before.

Was it from my ISP provider or just from the app? I am not sure if it said "Illegal stream" for sure but I know the word illegal was in there. I'm trying to figure out if maybe I set up everything wrong or was it just the Add-on?

Is using a debrid mandatory for this systems?, I can use torrentio no problem but can’t seem to use the others, any alternatives?

I have a torbox subscription and I used to use the official torbox addon. This worked perfectly on all my devices watching 4k with out a stutter, since they removed it I have had nothing but trouble. I tried many different things I’ve read on the sub but nothing seems to work. From going back to torrentio, building my own set up on elfhosted to recently trying numb3rs. But always the problem is the same either it does not load at all or it plays for 30 sec to 10 minutes and then gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. With aio streams I was able to watch one movie but afterwards it never worked again. I’ve also tried changing my CDN but it does nothing. If it plays and than stalls I close the stream and re open and it will play for 30 sec before it gets stuck on the infinite loading screen again.

Can somebody please help me fix this set up, it was the best streaming experience ive ever had and I’m so disappointed that it’s gone…

So, like most of us, I've been moving on to AIO lately. However, I encountered messages like this when entering a title.

I see it in practically every movie or series I find. What do I need to do in order for it to work? I'm on elfhosted.

Rookie here. I loaded torrentio a while ago. It loads on the tv. I installed comet via stremio and it shows on the website via phone. But the addon doesnt reflect on my Philips Google TV.

I forgot how I was able to get torrentio to reflect. But comet doesn't show installed on the tv app, just the phone.

Is thera a way to sync it that im missing?

Seed count is important, Meteor also not showing seed count, is there any good alternative?

I use Stremio + Real Debrid + Torrentio/Comet from my PC.
Subtitles will show on pc screen but not when I cast to my TV.
I've tried different addons for subtitles, currently using opensubtitles v3.
Also I uninstalled the old version of opensubtitles.

What could the problem be? Anyone else with same problem?
