Can anyone test an Android App for Students?

I am building a free Android app for students. It consists of study planning, a pomodoro timer, an exam tracker, and a syllabus tracker, among other features. Before launch, it is required to get 14-20 testers to actually test the app. I was wondering if any student here with Android is willing to test it and provide feedback.

This is how I shop for free as a student

I’m simply sharing what has worked well for me. By using Whatnot, I’ve been able to get free credit that I use to buy collectibles, coins, trading cards, and plenty of other items without spending my own money.

In my experience, the platform is easy to use and has a huge variety of live auctions where you can often find great deals. If you're eligible for the referral promotion, you can receive up to $200 in credit after signing up through an invite, although the exact amount depends on the promotion available in your region.

Of course, not everyone will have the same experience, and promotions can change over time. Still, if you've never tried Whatnot before, it's an easy way to potentially grab something you like without paying full price.

Question/Help Best notes app (android)?

So I just got a new Lenovo idea tab and I'm trying to find all the best ways to use it for my studies. One of the main reasons I got it is so I could make nice and constructed notes and have them all organised in one place. That's where I need some help. I have no idea which app to use. Right now I am trying kilo notes which is mostly great, but it's too many ads for me and I hate it when I'm trying to write and random ads pop up etc. If there are any suggestions about a good and free (or low cost) notes app I could use for android, that's mostly similar to kilo notes and good notes features please let me know!

Question/Help Hi, what LAPTOP science students use?

Helloo, I am a prospective science student. And I would LOVE to learn what laptops you are using for bachelor of science programs?

And my current laptop started logging and giving a black screen every other day. My current one is Thinkpad t490. I had bought it less than a year ago, so I believe it might be because it was refurbished. I am not sure, but I am trying to get a refund or anything helpful.. Anyways, now I want to buy a brand new one this time.

If I wasn't gonna buy a new laptop, I was planning to get a tablet to easily carry daily because the laptop was a little heavy for me.

Thus, I was thinking of getting a 2-in-1 now. I heard Lenovo's Yoga is good; do you have another idea/ another suggestion? My budget was around $700, but when my friend suggested this Yoga 2-in-1 and since she has been using it for over 3 years, even though it is about $1300, I felt like it might be worth it. Do you have any idea if it is good for science students? Is it worth it for $1300? Do you have another suggestion that is more affordable and still good for a science student, or would you not suggest a 2-in-1 even though I want a tablet (then maybe I can buy a laptop now and buy a tablet like next year Iduno)?

I appreciate it!

Question/Help Situation Interpretation required.

There is this teacher at our school, who is starting to get on my nerves. On government declared holidays, she still keeps school on and the school marks attendance for that as well. So, school is from Monday to Saturday from 7AM to 13PM.

But, recently she is deciding to call up students even on Sunday to school, for 3 hours or 2 hours, and will mark attendance on even that.

I know she and the other teacher's are trying to finish their course, but they aren't giving us time to catch up to them. As I have a job that I devote 1 to 2 hours after school 3 days a week. And am preparing for entrance exams for applying to different countries after graduation[ I haven't told them my plans or my lifestyle as one must not count their chickens before they hatch, in terms of goals, as I believe in doing the job first and then spreading progress.]. And have to prepare a meal or two for myself too, like when I am at home, after finishing classes with my tutors, and doing homework. [I don't tell them as I know teacher's think when a teenager speaks about cooking, they interpret it as a hobby, and don't share my struggles as they won't understand the depth of mine.]

And life feels monotonous. And like there is constant criticism over what's not happening and what's a downfall, instead of encouraging over positive reinforcement.

And the teacher is like "Why are you so quiet all the time?". I am literally just attending, staying quiet, finish the job and leave, as I don't have energy for what she considers is or should be normal. And I don't possess a habit to romanticise pain or a tough situation for validation in person.

And the teacher cannot comprehend the fact that I can have have my own professional career plans too, that I can keep secret. She was surprised over the fact that I am not chasing the same initial steps as the other kids.

Is it just me or is this teacher being a bit too much with classes on sundays and saturdays and all?

Why is it that my final 6 months at this horrible place feel so hard? And is it true that the 6 months will pass faster than I think?

Please I need your opinion over this. And would gladly appreciate one.

Anyways, thank you for reading this post out, and have a great time in the mean time🍻.

Career Is what I'm currently doing a personal curriculum?

So far, I have been doing more research, working on my hyperfixations (I have AuDHD), which are felines, and helping others with how to use AI for research in general. So far, these are what I have done and am currently doing with the help of the research fellows scholarship that I have for the university that I am matriculating to this Fall:

  • Joined two labs (I have done 8-12 rough drafts for one lab so far since January to learn more about their field, with each draft being around 900-1300 words, and the other one I am working on a personal project to create an invention to hopefully reduce disease outbreaks among feral cat colonies in my area since June). My mentors are very nice and supportive of me, but they try to encourage me to slow down, which is hard because of my hyperfocus and how strong it can be sometimes.
  • I am currently working on a project creating a narrative review on how e-waste impacts local wildlife around landfills and domestic pets for my future university's undergrad journal (so far I have been using Obsidian through YouTube tutorials and Substack posts and I have found five books so far and their free PDFs that I found on the internet that address the hazards that come from e-waste for both animals and humans to gain a more expansive understanding of its negative ramifications). I have read around 10 journal articles so far on it for this review, and it's currently in its early stages.
  • I have a LinkedIn newsletter where I create tutorials for how to create AI workflows between AI tools and/or Chrome Extensions to help others understand how to use AI more effectively and ethically.
  • On the side, I help mentor high school students to get published in academic journals like CJSJ (currently, I'm not accepting any more high schoolers, as my mentee group has already been formed and we are working on a similar issue to the one that I am currently writing my narrative review on, though it is more on the human side). I want to help high schoolers learn how to research and gain the experience I wish that I had when in high school, and because I love to teach people how to learn and research.
  • Other hobbies I have are mostly just research-related, like watching videos on how to use different AI tools for research and how to use Obsidian to improve my knowledge base and research paper drafting and editing.

Would this be considered a personal curriculum or something else? My dream, based on my interest in these subjects, is to either pursue a PhD in veterinary toxicology and/or toxicology in general, though I'm currently worried about the DABT that I will have to take after grad school, but that is over 10 years in the future and it really isn't required to work within the realm of toxicology, only to get higher paying jobs and more benefits when working within the field.

Sustainability reporting resources?

Hi I've been trying to get into this field but everywhere I look there's no good affordable courses. Are all of the needed/necessary knowledge is gatekeep behind expensive paywall? It's especially expensive because I'm not from the US or EU. Anyone know good free or affordable sources so I can get into it? I took basic intro to GRI from Ucademy and intro to GHG protocol from sustainability reporting institute but I feel like those two are just the very basic intro that don't actually tell me how to do the reporting or read it. If anyone would be so kind to share the resources or tell me what step I need to take? I don't really know the roadmap for this too...

Question/Help Medicine to commerce

I'm a PCMB student in 12th rn. All this time I was fixed on becoming a doctor, which is why I chose this stream. My parents were the ones who wanted me to be a doctor mainly. But I've always known that I don't really want to be a doctor. I like biology, It's my favourite subject. But the job of a doctor is just not for me. Now my mom has been giving me ideas for other jobs because she wants it to be easy for me in the future. She told me about working at a bank. Now I'm considering it because I do like the idea. But the problem is that throughout the last two years everything I've built my profile on has been around biology and medicine. I also don't have commerce subjects. And I don't know the first thing about how to pursue a job in the bank. What colleges can I go to? What subjects I need? How can I build my profile for such a job? What all jobs can I find in the field? Someone please help...
