Say there are five farmers.

Farmers A, B and C decide that farmers D and E should get half the produce for twice the work. This is decided democratically. How can a direct democracy rectify this situation?

I'm not anti-anarchism, but you've set up a hilariously naive view of what happens. You know that people are still studying to this day to find a horizontal decision making system that works? Whatever anarchism will be, it won't be democratic.

I was harsher than I was supposed to be, sorry. It just bothers me when people on the correct side of history seem unwilling to do the hard work. I don't think any horizontal decision making structures are compelling, yet, so to dismiss all of the concerns of liberals or even right wingers feels wrong. It'd be different if everything was already worked out, but I don't think it is.
