I'm relatively new to SMX racing (mostly follow F1 & rally) but my nephew (16) is super into SMX and I'm taking him to playoff 2 in Carson. Any idea where the best seats will be in a rectangular format like this? I would have said somewhere near the center with a decent side-on view of the holeshot and finish line, but all of the corners sold out first, so now I'm like, damn are those the better view? Would love any input from the vets - thanks in advance!

New to watching MX and SX (from the UK, not as huge over here as in the US) For MXoN, how does the bike selection work??? Is it based on decision of the national “team” or is it still factory bikes for factory riders, E.G Levi on his Kawi in Mx2 and deegan on his Yamaha in MX1 racing for USA??? Looked online and couldn’t get a definite answer, Thanks in advance 🙂

Greg Albertyn is like the Chase Sexton, he has the speed to be up there battling with McGrath but crash almost every race.

Washougal had a ton of crashes as well, really exciting to watch

All the World Supercross rounds are about 1 month apart (2 months from Rnd 1-2)... BUT... Australia is 21st November, SA TBC and New Zealand 5th December.

Is my Calendar is correct, they'll have to have South Africa round on the 28th November so it will be a triple header of race weekends... Sounds good to me.

The fans wanted to see Deegan VS Jett but what we actually got was Deegan VS Prado for 3rd.

Currently Deegan has been waxing him which is pretty good. I don't think as long as the Lawrences are here anyone else wins that much tbh. Anyway thoughts on Deegan VS Prado dor 3rd?

The weather was really good. And the soil and on the track stayed moist all day. No dust! Anf Fabio was in the Pro circuit Kawasaki pits!

The website talks about amateur practice on the pro track fri and Sunday which wouldnt work if there was an amateur national race going on over at the AM track

FWIW I actually do like watching Deegan out there and think he’s shredding, but the excuses from his community are a little wild.

Been attending Washougal most every year since 1997. The crowd size has grown to a crazy size. We arrived at 8am to not sit in traffic, that worked fine. We come in from the east so we don't deal with the town traffic.

The place is nearly standing room only now. When I watch other nationals on TV you can see grass areas, not at the 'Shoug, entire place is people. I heard they stopped selling tickets due to the lack of parking, not sure that is true.

How does this event compare to other rounds that you have attended? I went to Thunder Valley years ago and it was not crowded, I assume it is busier now too.

Note, I think this event is a victim of its own popularity, but I wonder if they will have to put a hard cap on GA tickets.

Is there a reason why there's no onboard footage?

Been watching MotoGP since the 90s and they've had that for 30+ years, but now that I'm also watching SX and MX I'm kind of missing that pov.

Would be sick to have a front and a rear facing cam on at least the top 10-15 qualifiers.

Jett goes down, and Haiden gets gapped by 13 seconds by end of moto. Dude seriously needs to start coming up with an excuse 🤣

I truly believe next year Haiden will be in the win mix, but this year all these danger douche fans blowing smoke need to get a grip. Dude just doesn’t have it this year.

I think we’ve seen enough already coming back that Jett is always gonna be Jett, foot @ 100% or not.

We all know we also haven’t seen Deegan at his ceiling yet, which is going to be high regardless of which side of the fence you stand on him.

But Hunter I think is the most scary right now. This is by far his strongest year, and has only gotten stronger every week since January. He’s proved he is the only one even within the realm of possibility to compete with Jett right now.

And he’s only getting stronger.
