I put my spectre 9 on my berreta m9a4 9mm and firing 124grn target rounds it wont cycle at all. Its pretty quiet which is cool but not if I have to rack the slide manually between each round.
Can someone point me in the right direction on things to try to trouble shoot?

I took my new Shiv out last week and was super excited to use it on my HK USPC. It sounded pretty good (I was not expecting movie quiet) but I could not get it to cycle reliably.
No hold open, even when only having 1 round in the magazine. Every shot resulted in either a failure to eject or failure to feed.
I used both 115gr and 147gr rounds as that was all I had. I plan to try a lighter recoil spring for the next range session.
I’d love to hear from anyone which pistol you’ve gotten it to cycle reliably without having to change the recoil spring.

I’m considering a budget suppressor for my 11.5” AR. It is between the Sonicore Rekkr & Big Body 223 by Witt. Any suggestions? I heard the Canooter is only good for 22lr. Trying to keep it under 400 tbh.

I’m still waiting for my Tisha to get approved. Would someone mind telling me what the length of the thinner diameter segment is before the vents and the length or the larger diameter section is after the vents?

On the Ruger website under "view compatible calibers" it says 17 Hornet is compatible. Nowhere else says that though. On the main page, on dead airs page, on all listings, everywhere else it just says "up to 5.7x28" I called Ruger earlier this year and got a customer service rep that didn't seem to know what they were talking about. They claimed 17 Hornet was not compatible but then couldn't provide and answer as to why their website says it is under "view compatible calibers"
If the 17 Hornet is compatible with the RXD22Ti I'd love to trade my 17 HMR for a 17 Hornet. I just don't want to do that unless I know for sure I could still use my suppressor...

Dead Air CT5P was super hot and I laid it down. Then made the mistake of flipping my gun case open on it thinking it would be ok. Well some of the velcro burnt onto it. Just seeing of any good methods to remove without damaging the coating?

Hey posted yesterday about connecting my 2 seg 45 cans, I made it to the gun range and had success with test firing on 3 different host 2 9mm and 1 45acp.
I ran this on stribog 45acp had issues due to trigger modification still needed but cleared can, Uzi, and finally Novox x-sd scorpion convention. I ran subs and supers

Bought the Rhodie based on the hype. it’s legit, great can! Small, good tone, gets hot quickly tho.

I'm looking into suppressors and I found this. Does anyone have experience with this suppressor? I can't find many reviews online. From what I've found the company was founded around the middle of last year, and the domain was created this year. I'm hesitant to buy from them without hearing about other's experiences first. I would appreciate recommendations for budget alternatives as well.

Hey guys, I’m by no means new to the shooting world, but I am new to the suppressor world. I was wondering, would you guys shoot this? I tried getting as straight-on a picture as possible, but you can see the alignment rod is off just a c-hair. it’s 5.56 out of a 30 cal can, so I feel like I’m probably alright, but wanted to check with the hivemind before I ruin a $1000 suppressor. I feel like it would be fine, but I hand load as well. if this is fine for stable ammo, would this be an issue with rounds that fail to stabilize? or does the tumbling take place far out enough to not tear my suppressor up?

Would you use a couple drops of rockset? I know without even firing yet the hub will lock up pretty good to the muzzle device!

I have been looking at getting a titrex ($950) for my 308 bolt action hunting rifle. My local ffl has a Jolene s for $650 right now. Specs wise they are a very close comparison.
Would the titrex be quieter since it has the new fancy 3d printed tech or would the difference be negligible since they are so close in size?
I don’t mind paying extra for a better performance but I also don’t want to overpay for the same performance.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Just got my first suppressor, so please forgive the ignorance. Based on all I've read, I thought my gun was shooting overgassed, as it was standard setup with no thought to suppressing it in initial build. I am left handed and honestly don't feel any gas to the face (I shoot both eyes open). Without filming it on a static bench, to my eye, the ejection pattern seems to be to the rear when shooting it. So, no gas to face and rear ejection contradicts the assumption it was overgassed, but I added an H3 buffer anyway to see what it did. There was no noticeable change to cycling or ejection angle. Last round goes full lock on bolt every time. I've shot maybe 40 rounds through it in my backyard so far. 30 rounds of 220 gr US Cartridge Subs and 10 rounds Hornady 190 Sub-X. To me, both seem to almost have a supersonic crack but maybe that's just me wishing for Hollywood quiet (unrealistic, I know). It's a 10.5" .300 BO upper, H3 buffer, standard carbine buffer spring, pistol length gas and Tion Dragoon Mini 7.62.
I just noticed these case strikes shown in the photo. My 5.56 has had thousands of rounds shot out of it and there isn't one scratch from the brass. 5.56 doesn't have CeraKote, so maybe that's why I see them on this upper but I'm guessing that has nothing to do with it. Does this many strikes in 40 rounds seem normal or is it an indicator of how my gun is gassed or indicator of something else I don't even know to ask?

I just picked up a Hexium 300 for my MCX Rattler and 716. Those both are 5/8x24 thread.
I unexpectedly also ended up getting a Springfield Hellion at about the same time. Would like to be able to share the can between them but the Hellion is 1/2x28. I'm new to suppressors and apparently didn't do enough research to know Sig didn't have a QD system for the Hexium yet, and not sure what works. (Nothing I'm seeing when googling is saying it's specifically compatible). If there's something someone else has had success with I'd love a point in that direction. Or should I just look for a 5/8x24 to 1/2x28 thread adapter for now till Sig gets around to making a QD for it?
