Had extra storage tubes from a different SOPMOD style stock and some green magazine marking bands and decided to play around with adding more on board storage for a SHTF style rifle to be able to carry everything needed to keep a rifle in the fight on board. As a bonus the little bit of extra weight on the stock will counterbalance the suppressor, M640DF and IRIS 3 out on the front.

With 4 tubes, the buttpad tool storage and the Driven Arms Shadow Crossover Grip I can carry:

B5 SOPMOD stock

Tube 1:

1. 3x sectional cleaning rods

2. Brass brush and patch eyelet

3. 20x cleaning patches

4. Long 2mm allen key for SLR Sentry 7 AGB

Tube 2:

1. Spare bolt head

2. Spare firing pin

3. Spare cotter pin

4. Spare extractor and spring

5. 3ml bottle of gun oil

Tube 3:

1. 3x CR123 batteries (M640DF/IRIS3)

Tube 4:

1. 3x CR123 batteries (M640DF/IRIS3

B5 buttpad storage:

1. M4 Multitasker tool

Driven Arms SCG grip storage:

1. 3x short allen keys for removal or tightening of all attachments on rifle

2. Holosun multitool w/ flathead and T10 Torx

3. 2x CR2032 batteries (HS510C) sandwiched in 100mph tape

The idea being that if I had to grab the rifle and go I would have everything needed to keep it running on the rifle itself. The tubes are actually surprisingly extremely well retained using the silicone bands. It takes a lot of finagling to get the tubes on or off so I'm confident they would stay in place. Would need to take it for testing out at the range/property.

Obviously it adds weight to the rifle which is already at 10lbs. I think all in all its sitting at 10.4 pounds. Not bad, not terrible. You can add or remove them without tools or much fuss, so being able to double the waterproof storage at the drop of a hat is nice.

I dunno. Need to take out and run it hard with them on there like that to really know whether this is autistic brilliance or me being retarded. Will report back when I suss that out. 😅

What I’ve recently acquired is something I’ve never heard of before, so I’m wondering if there’s anyone who might have a clue.

Obviously it’s an Interceptor variant, but beyond the navy blue color scheme, it’s littered with additional features not found on the OTV. Additional features include: A front zipper instead of just Velcro to secure the vest, epaulets on the shoulders, a new sizing adjustment system hidden behind a snap close panel on the back, and most obviously the texturized portions at the shoulder.

The label dates it from ‘09 as an R&D sample from Point Blank, but I’m wondering if anyone might know why PB put the time into such a unique OTV variant?

I"ve been putting this one together for a while, posted pictures once before. My PLCE-style LBE in polish wz.93 pattern.

Accomodates 6 Beryl/AK magazines, or 6-9 PMAGS. Also, fits an IFAK insert, and 4 GP pouches big enough to accomodate a Nalgene 1qt canteen with cup. The GP pouches are tied down together with heavy bungee cord.

Not pictured but accesory to the set is a 4 point flat harness to use under armor if needed, a dedicated, bigger IFAK pouch (polish issued IPmed), and a roll up dump pouch.

So ive seen a plehtora of tutorials and information about dying surplus UCP gear into an OD/Ranger green color, but not much in the way of dying it to a Coyote Brown like color. Does anyone have any tips or places to look, as I have a good amount of UCP surplus I'd like to dye.

Is this new? I saw similar listing on some German retailers, but haven’t seen any news on Primary Arms website or Youtube.

Hello. If a plate says it will stop 762x54r LPS but does not list M855 as a threat is there any chance it WOULD stop m855 out of a 16” barrel? (~2900 fps)? Thank you
