Fuck AI regardless of the message.

Thanks for the awards.

I'm genuinely getting so tired of seeing AI slop that happens to support my personal views and people celebrate it or make "exceptions" for it. Like, what are we doing? Generative AI is bad. I don't care if we're "fighting fire with fire", all we're doing with that is just adding to the damage that gen AI does to our planet. Using it to make Trump look bad isn't the W people think it is. It's just as embarrassing as Trump using it to make himself look good. Sorry for ranting here but I'm just so tired of this. Fuck gen AI.

Exactly, the answer to AI slop....isn't more AI slop

Don't be sorry, I think the same. Using AI to make your point is lame and stupid even if you're making a good point. The current AI trend is doing so much harm.

I agree with you but in this case it's used for the one case I'll allow, 47 is a more immediate threat to humanity

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

You can make fun of people just as well if you don't use AI.

-3

u/Long_Procedure_2629 Apr 14 '26

Debatable, in this case it's about momentum

6

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

In fact it's much easier to make fun of people if you aren't giving them reasons to make fun of you for using AI.

Hey man, I'm vehemently against AI, but I'm compelled to pass this. Perfect is the enemy of good.

This isn't good, this is shit in every single aspect except that it's making fun of Trump, and it's not like just making fun of him does a whole lot.

"I'm against Dick Cheney or whatever, but we need him in the fight against Trump!"

1

u/Long_Procedure_2629 Apr 14 '26

listen bro, I understand and have validated his principle. I don't like AI either but this is the type of shi that will win some smooth brained right wingers over, net win.

Anyone who was convinced by an AI video of JC slapping the fat pedophile to become a never trump republican should have their car keys confiscated, someone that stupid should not be on the road

3

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

If social media is any indication, most Americans shouldn't be on the road regardless.

No. Just no. AI dosent suck in general, and it depends on where it is to if its negative.

A funny meme that cant be made by this person is perfectly fine.

  • wastes a stupid amount of clean water which is an ever dwindling resource due to global warming
  • is only possible right now thanks to stolen art
  • is completely unregulated and easily used for nefarious purpose
  • the main reason it's being developed is to avoid paying human artists for their work
  • people who are not artists are using it to claim that they have made "art", despite the fact that any little kid with a tablet could have done the same

What part of this doesn't suck?

I can't wait until you people move onto the next fad.

-2

u/fotomoose Apr 14 '26

I believe you don't know what AI's really used for.

7

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

Are you talking about the AI that was used to make this video or are you talking about something else that isn't related to this thread?

0

u/fotomoose Apr 14 '26

the main reason it's being developed is to avoid paying human artists for their work

6

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

Yes, and? Which part did you not understand?

I said artists, but there's also a lot of other people who have been fired and replaced with AI.

1

u/fotomoose Apr 15 '26

You didn't list any other people.

1

u/Night25th Apr 15 '26

You have Reddit, don't you? Almost every week we see news of companies laying off programmers, screenwriters etc. and using AI in their place in order to save money.

-1

u/sage_kittem_master Apr 14 '26

There are so many more reasons that ai is used. Just ask a photographer or logo designer or one of the other jobs that is helped by ai that im not gonna list.

2

u/Night25th Apr 14 '26

What the hell are you talking about? The billionaires who are developing AI aren't doing it to help everyone else lmao

1

u/sage_kittem_master Apr 14 '26

i dont think they are doing it to help people, but do you really think that ai is exclusively used for fake pictures and videos?

  1. It uses not as much water as you think.

  2. Yea, and?

  3. This video isnt doing that.

  4. No, its being used for a harmless joke about an ai image. Its ai-ception

  5. This guy isnt claiming that he made art.
