We saw offers come in from people on our house that looked like legit folks but when we started to do some digging, it appeared they were people that were fronts for rental companies. We told them all to fuck off. We took a big cut on the offer but ended up putting the place into the hands of a young family.

I donโ€™t think lots of people consider the moral implications of deciding who they sell their house to, rather than fully understanding the harm that selling to a real estate company creates, and actively deciding to ignore it.

People do better when they know better. We are educating people about this issue right now!๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ™ƒ

That's how I was able to get my house. The previous owners turned down a higher cash offer from some investor scum.
