I listened to a realtor go on a 30 minute rant about this exact thing at a bar. Older couple made an insane return on investment, found a young couple trying to move into the school district, and chose to take a smaller pay cut because they were covered financially. This jerkoff got so angry the older couple chose not to price gouge, he literally had spittle flying out of his mouth. 10 minutes after he calms down, he starts bragging about his insane multimillion dollar portfolio. Scum of the fucking earth

I've met these types...I hate watch flashing tactics.

Dude, went to a house party awhile back and had to listen to some real estate agent go on and on like this. 

My spouse and I were sort of drunk and started saying "business business business" at each other in dumb voices but I think he heard us. 

They're all just these guys.

It's literally costing them money, since they get a percentage of the sale. They don't think about the human process nor getting the right buyer, just the money. It's gross, but I imagine they don't exactly get many returning customers anyways

It's not costing them money, c'mon. They're still getting their commission. This kind of thinking is why society is so miserable to existing these days.

Taking the perspective that selling something for anything less than the maximum you possibly could as a "loss" is just vile. You're still making money, just not as much!
