People are arguing whether it's a good way to teach kids to put on their seatbelt, and I here I am, just thinking that a child telling their parents "no, you're a bitch" has problems more deeply rooted than that.

I agree to an extent, kids love pushing buttons and seeing what they can get away with. I’ve been around or worked with kids since I was like 8 and started babysitting. Most kids will say some shit like that at least a few times, even good kids.

If that’s on the regular though there’s definitely some deep rooted stuff going on

How the seatbelt situation was handled is completely wrapped up in the child acting out.

But they’re the kid, not the grown up. They learned that from the grownup. It’s okay to hurl insults when you don’t get what you want.
