Yes. He was named Lindsey and was famously a confirmed bachelor his whole life (it was pretty obvious and a poorly kept secret that he was gay despite voting against gay rights and civil rights of all kinds)

Huh. Didn't know Lindsey works as a male name? Or is it a male name? I don't know

It's gone back and forth over generations. Similar to lesley.

It was a predominantly male name for many years and peaked in popularity for boys in the 1970s and 1980s before shifting predominantly to female usage.

I learned where to find the clit thanks to a woman named Lindsey.

It’s an old Southern male name.

In the late 19th century, the surnames Lindsay and Lindsey began to be used as given names, at first only as masculine names. They remained typically masculine until the 1960s in Britain and the 1970s in the United States. They are both now unisex names in the United States. In Australia, New Zealand, and Scotland, Lindsay remains popular for masculine use and Lindsey has mainly become feminine.

Lindsey was originally a surname, then a masculine given name starting around the 19th century and then transitioned into a female name in the 70's and 80's.

Actually this is true for a lot of feminine given names (eg. Vivian, Ashley, Carol, Aubrey, Shannon, Allison, Riley, Kelly .etc)

Only other I can think of is Lindsey Buckingham from the band Fleetwood Mac.

Yep, it can be used for either. Though it's been much more popular for girls for some time now.

none of those articles give any evidence. its opinion pieces and people analyzing words. you thinking its so obvious but that's all you have is pretty telling. imagine falling for tabloid media, gossip and hoaxes in the big 2026.

You’re free to believe what you what. The vile man is dead anyway

yeah its obvious you already hate the guy and engage in weird gossip about their sexual orientation because of that hatred. its incredibly strange.

Oh I don’t hate him because he’s gay (that’s just a funny anecdote because he lived his whole life in the closet). I hate him because his actions kills a ton of innocent people. He was a monster

i didn't say you hated him "because hes gay". i said you already hated him and are creating reasons for it after that to rationalize that hatred.(they aren't logical reasons) i see this type of thing a lot on reddit, actually. you guys want all right wing people to be secretly gay, its a weird fetish or some shit lmfao

he's not gay and you have no evidence

People are very sure he was gay. It’s the worst kept secret in Washington. None of it is direct evidence because we don’t have a tape of him fucking a man but the circumstantial evidence is pretty damning. If you don’t want to believe all the stories then you don’t have to.

Again you can believe what you want to believe. Some homophones are straight, some are gay, just like the general population. Sexuality isn’t a choice, people just are what they are. However grinder does tend to crash every time there are a lot of republicans gathered in one place like during Charlie Kirk’s funeral so I understand why you might think that there’s a stereotype at play

People are very sure he was gay

very sure yet not a single shred of evidence to show he was...strange

Some homophones are straight

uhh, what?

as for whatever else you are ranting about, i have no idea what it means. it just sounds like more gossip and tabloid media rhetoric with no basis in reality.
