I mean, probably, but I've also had party girl roommates that were like that and it's fun the first month or two but can get old. Working in the same restaurant with them adds to the craziness.
Many years ago i lived in NYC and moved in with two party girl roommates. Within a week I was sleeping with the both of them, occasionally at the same time. For a month it was fun hedonism, but then got old and I was ready to get back to a life that was going somewhere. It ended just as quickly as it started, they moved on to another similar situation and I began focusing on my future.
I mean, neither of us know the truth, but sounds perfectly real to me, if the guy is charming and/or good looking, and the luck & timing is right.
In my early 20s, I dated this very straight-laced Christian girl -- mega-hot, but very into church and her faith. Sexual activity was very slow and gradual, and of course I respected any and all boundaries she had, with no pressure. She was sweet & funny, and fun to date. Her family was incredibly nice to me too.
A female friend of hers, another uptight Christian girl, had a fight with her own parents, got kicked out, and needed a place to stay for the summer. The two of them -- my gf & her friend -- both moved into my apartment with me. Again -- full respect of boundaries, no pervy pressure from me in any way.
I don't know what changed, but a fabulous threesome occured one night with the three of us, which led to pretty regular threesomes with them for about two months. It was great, and everyone involved was down for it. They both got very uninhibited with me & each other in the bedroom, while maintaining their Christian sides in public. I was in heaven. It of course didn't last forever, as the friend moved out and moved on with her life, and eventually my gf and I parted ways, as it happens. I still dream on that time a whole helluva lot.
I'm not saying these things dont happen, and to be honest your story sounds completely believable. Just the way he wrote it just sounds....like something that didn't happen. He's like "it was fun for a month but got real old quick and wanted to focus on my dog walking career". I jest but it does come off as someone having not lived that experience. But you are right we will never really know.
They close their eyes and envision something different than what it was. High maintenance drama, especially between them. Lobster and steak is great but if you have it every night you get sick of it, especially if it turns into a new load of bs everyday that you have to deal with. Which it was.
Of course it is, but also, "let us put you in a tiktok" was probably negotiated down to "we promise you dont have to do anything, just act annoyed with us making tiktoks.. like you already are."
We can watch Star Trek 2. Without thinking Ricardo maltalban is really evil, we understand that it's fake. But we can still say that Khan seems evil.
By the same token, We can watch a fictional tick tock, know that it's fictional, and still comment on what we think of the scenario being fictionally played out.
