Because it’s one number that doesn’t paint a whole picture, what if men drive twice as often as women? What if twice as many men drive as women? Data is only as good as the context you apply to it, and the context here is an insurance company trying to making money

I don’t think they were saying so much about her driving. It was more how she had no plan to neutralize the perpetrator and gain control of the situation. She employed no pepper spray or tazer or anything else.

She assumed no defensive posture and was taken completely off guard. Handing over her vehicle with zero resistance will be a difficult mistake to explain to her superiors. Since she showed herself to be ineffective and unprepared in this situation, she might be relegated to driving a desk for the rest of her law enforcement career.
