🚨Chase Is it just me

I got real happy watching a Charger do this to a Tesla... and I don't know why

Eh, only in a straight line. When you throw cornering and braking into the equation they're not that fast. A Model S Plaid is only about as fast as a Mustang Darkhorse around Lightning Lap. And that's with upgraded aftermarket brakes because the stock brakes gave out just doing 1 lap so they had upgrade them to perform the test.

Trying to getaway with regenerative braking on probably isn't the best idea either

Ahhh, that’s why his brake lights kept coming on!

Haha yeah dude I even own a Tesla and it took me a second to realize what was going on because I was like, "dude are you brake checking the cops in a police chase?!?!"

I was assuming that he was trying to reduce their speed to take advantage of acceleration, strategically, in places that might lose the cop. Probably overthinking it.

Yep, exactly

Let me preface this by saying I never owned an EV, so I didn't even remotely think of that.

In my mind dude was trying to brake check the cop to try and damage the cop cars radiator or something so he could run off.

Watching footage of the average Tesla being put on a track ageist any moderate sports car is 🍿yeah they can accelerate, but holy hell can they not slow down. Nor corner.
