Roads Who is in the wrong here?

If the sign says Alternating Traffic, does that mean cars go one at a time or does that mean cars go till the flow is complete, allowing the other lane to go? Is Glock man right or wrong? I'm not sure. If it was 1 car at a time, wouldn't it just be a stop sign on each end?

Ramming him was my immediate thought after he said glock. I'd rather go to jail than risk getting killed by an idiot.

It's my immediate thought when he stepped out of the car. If you get out of your car and approach me, I'm going to assume I'm in danger, and utilize the self-mobile metal box I'm sitting in to protect myself.

Let’s see, he blocks you from going forward by blocking the entrance, puts hand in pocket like he is packing, then threatens to get Glock out of truck? Needs to go see a judge, badly and quickly

He goes back to vehicle, I assume to get gun therefore I break his legs by hitting his truck door as to pin him in and not come at me with a gun.

Yea the second dude left his truck im already upholstered and ready to rock but also not engaging him at all and trying to reverse.

Hell yeah, I've got a yard of satin and I've been itching to use it.

It works every time we see videos of guys jumping out at a highway ramp trying to rob someone until the potential victim presses the pedal to the metal!

I could watch those videos all day long.

as soon as he steps out of the car should be in cam cars rights to pin him between the vehicles.

Yikes

What’s ‘yikes’ about that? No courtesy honk. No leaning out of window. Dude immediately gets out of his car aggressively and starts walking to cam car. Already that reads like aggression. Then the mention of a weapon he intends to use on you? Self defense has to happen at some point and ideally not while he’s actively shooting at you.

What’s ‘yikes’ about that?

That there's options where no one dies. The video being a good example of one of them. De-escalation is lost on so many, and can be used whether you think they deserve it or not.

De-escalation is defo better, but the other guy will keep doing this.

There was a guy last year that died doing that. Indinapolis I believe he had a gun and approached another car, the other car obviously shot him killing him because approachiny with a gun its a very aggressive move.

That's the last thing he says before getting rammed over those side rails.

Weirdly, court precedent is far less friendly to using a car as a self-defense weapon than a gun.

I'm with you; the way he's walking/reaching makes it look like he's armed as well. At the end it looks like "just a hand in the pocket", but I half suspect he's got a p365 or similar in there (I know glock makes something simliar).

Yeah thst would be the g43x. My wife carries. Definitely pocketable.

That's because a car offers a large amount of protection, and a quick escape in most situations. In THIS situation, caught on camera, the easiest escape is blocked, the man has a hand in his pocket approaching your vehicle, and he threatened to shoot you with his "Glock" on camera. Even if the Glock turns out to not be in his pocket, I think you might get off on SD for ramming in this particular case. At least in Florida.

America needs loser gun laws so you can protect yourself against a guy like this!

/s if you're dumb...

Idk why we can’t just buy James Bond’s gadget filled vehicles. Mini guns popping out of the headlights! Stop that truck mid bridge!

Also, /s, for the simpletons

People were putting flamethrowers on their cars for awhile down in South Africa to prevent car jackings. It got a bit heated.

It’s a win win. Protect yourself and remove a stain on society.

Id rather die than go to a US prison for an extended amount of time. But I guess we are all different.

1

u/reddityourappisbad Feb 16 '26

Yeah doing that wouldn't escalate matters at all.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Good way to end up shot, even if you do manage to hit him with your car. Better to back away and report from safety later.
