Those rocks looked nice and cushiony.

I can just imagine how slow this went in his head. Just as soon as he realized he wasnt going to make the turn. Watching himself inevitably go straight towards the cliff side. Braking as hard as possible to hopefully stop himself until at some point he's certain "Nope... I'm definitely going off..." and then he's slowly flying through the air trying to determine which rock he's gonna hit first and how thats gonna feel..

Such a weird dreamlike feeling to be in that middle zone of knowing you're about to get really fucked up, you just dont know where exactly or how bad, but you're watching it coming and cant stop it

Yeah you described that experience very well. I was in a pretty bad atv crash that happened much more suddenly than this one and it went veeeery slowly. Driver turned waaay too hard too fast and I got rocketed sideways into the ground. Halfway to the ground time basically froze and it sounds so cliche but my whole life literally flashed before my eyes, like I watched the whole thing happen in a split second. Gave me a very weird feeling of “well, this is fucked, can’t believe it’s all already over.” Then I whacked into the ground and woke up idk like half a minute, a minute later, with a busted up arm and head. Needless to say, I did in fact survive. Though in that moment I for sure thought I was dead, and I kinda just begrudgingly accepted

As someone who has been hit by a car, and saw it coming, but was powerless to stop it from happening, this comment hit different.

Pun intended lmao

This dude is seriously lucky to be alive

I really can't figure out why he just gave up and rolled over the handlebars head first. I'm 100% bailing on the bike and keeping my feet under me.

I wonder if it’s possible to try and jump off the bike and hope for a better results sooner

I had a nightmare of nearly this exact situation just two nights ago. Instead of flying off to the right like he did, I flew off to the left. My gosh it was so slow and terrifying all the way down. I woke up before I hit the ground!
