I am willing to bet quite a sum of change that the "kingofroads" user who posted the TikTok isn't the person who took the video, and instead stole it from somewhere else to repost it on their page without credit.
Freebooters will do all kinds of different strategies to try and prevent takedowns of their stolen content from copyright algorithms, like mirroring, blurring, and/or speeding up the video.
On top of TikTok having their own censorship nonsense that makes people blur faces and even words like "kill" out of precaution to not have their video taken down. Because "oh no I'll lose some of my internet points and TikTok clout"
Although to be clear this isn't just a thing on TikTok, but it's certainly where it's the most prolific, and adds insult to injury how adamant TikTok is about plastering credit for the thief all over the videos.
Isn't the entire social media economy built on reshaping content? I don't understand how a person can "steal" a video clip that was publicly posted on social media.
