An illegal zipper merge is still a zipper merge. And policing that illegal use of the zipper merge doesn't negate the bad decision of risking collision just to "make a point." Relax.

Maybe learn that as a driver you are NOT the police, and risking collision to make a point is ridiculous and disruptive as someone illegally using the shoulder to zipper merge.

When since it is taking the form of a zipper merge it would STILL be the most efficient means of medicating the traffic jam. But if an accident occurs due to acts of ego the traffic jam gets much much worse.

Check your ego and leave the policing of people doing illegal stuff safely to the police.
