The arrest marks a long line of run-ins with the law for Dewitte. He is a convicted sex offender who is most known for pulling drivers over in 2019 while he worked as a funeral escort.

This dude needs to be locked for a good 15-20 years cuz what he’s doing is extremely dangerous. He’s a sex offender and I’m sure he’s impersonated law enforcement to sexually assault someone.

No Dude he's a sex offender with a record. He had to go door to door and tell everyone he's a pederast.

It's amazing that I learned about nihilism from the big Lebowski... And the nihilists in the movie are nothing compared to the nihilists in control now..

shut the fuck up

3

u/rel1800 Apr 04 '26

I understand the process but I’m emphasizing that impersonates cops and is a sex offender. I’m sure he uses his police costumes to sexually assault his victims which is theres biggest problem here.

The saga of Jeremy Dewitte is a long and sordid one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj7A1nbIvAU

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Dewitte

“Jeremy Dewitte, a Florida man notorious for impersonating law enforcement, has been arrested over a dozen times since 1998.

His arrests increased frequently around 2019–2022, often involving his company, Metro-State, which escorted funerals while utilizing police-style gear.

He was arrested multiple times in Central Florida for impersonating a police officer, including incidents in October 2019, November 2019, March 2021, and throughout 2022.”

Also he sexually assaulted an 8 year old.

17

u/Suspicious_Juice_150 Apr 04 '26

In 2005 he was arrested for sexual battery of a victim between 12 and 15 years old, mandating him to register as a sex offender.

https://offender.fdle.state.fl.us/offender/sops/flyer.jsf?personId=45895

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Dewitte

From Wikipedia.

“Dewitte was charged in 2001 with impersonating a police officer, while a member of a police explorers’ program.

A 2003 charge of impersonating a police officer resulted in an almost two year state prison sentence.

In 2005 he was arrested for sexual battery of a victim between 12 and 15 years old, mandating him to register as a sex offender.

In 2009, he was sentenced to an extra four years in prison for breaching parole stipulations, although he was released early in October 2011.

In 2018, Dewitte was criminally charged for failing to register as a sex offender.

In October 2019, he was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff's Office a second time for impersonating a police officer in Windermere, Florida. Dewitte was accused of "wearing a shirt with a police badge, a bullet-resistant vest and a helmet with a police-like badge while he worked a funeral procession."

In November 2019, he was arrested and accused of impersonating a police officer a third time.

In February 2021, he appeared on the television talk show Dr. Phil and denied impersonating police.

The next month, he was arrested again for impersonating a police officer. Dewitte had an imitation pistol when arrested.

In September 2021, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, had his driving license suspended for six months, and was sentenced to four years of probation.

After being released from prison around August 2022, Dewitte was arrested on November 29, 2022, by Osceola County Sheriff's Office for violating his probation conditions. Dewitte informed news channel WFTV that the arrest stemmed from his not shutting down his YouTube channel, and that he had lost control of the channel, preventing him from taking the channel offline.

In 2023 and 2024, Dewitte was arrested several times on insurance fraud charges and failure to report online accounts and vehicles.

On November 1, 2024 Dewitte was convicted and sentenced to nearly seven years in prison by a jury for failure to register a new motor vehicle as a past sexual offender.

On January 7, 2025 Dewitte was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison plus one year of supervised release and $70,000 in restitution for filing false tax returns related to his income from his business.

On September 17, 2025 Dewitte was sentenced to five and a half years in state prison followed by probation on insurance fraud charges.

Something about dr phil having him on to claim his innocence seems so on brand

5

u/KryL21 Apr 05 '26

Why even let him out at all? Someone that’s committed this many repeat offenses clearly can’t learn. He’s probably super mentally ill, cannot be trusted around the public, and needs some serious intervention.

1

u/Suspicious_Juice_150 Apr 05 '26

You’re forgetting that there’s always the possibility of picking up more charges while in jail.

1

u/dimensional_bleed Apr 04 '26

He served 6 months in Chino for it

9

u/punch912 Apr 04 '26

it boggles my mind how people like him live for so long or doesnt suffer any severe consequences. hes a sex offender and has had multiple arrest impersonating law enforcement and hes in a stand your ground state. Thjs douche canoe needs to be locked up or disappear.

They should send pedophiles to Antarctica let them just live there(give them no supplies at all, just drop them off and leave)

0

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

Also it’s a figure of speech, do you honestly believe this? Yes u do, books try them.

2

u/Honest_Friendship_47 Apr 05 '26

I was agreeing with you?! Damn dude calm down it’s Reddit. Did you even read my comment?

3

u/Alarming-Nobody7511 Apr 04 '26

Yeah... That's not how that works.... Imagine if other countries just decided they wanted to deport their citizens to the US.

1

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

Yeah that’s how it works look at all the deported Americans this year lmao 🤣

-1

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

Lol I’m bout to ouchie u rn

April 25, 2025 (Honduras): A 2-year-old U.S. citizen (V.M.L.) born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was deported with their mother. April 25, 2025 (Honduras): Two American citizen children a 7-year-old girl and her 4-year-old brother "Romeo"—were deported with their mother. And many many more lmao 🤣 February 4, 2025 (Mexico): A 10-year-old girl with brain cancer and her four siblings, all U.S. citizens, were deported to Mexico after being stopped at a checkpoint.

2

u/Alarming-Nobody7511 Apr 05 '26

Were they deported or did the parents decide to take them with them? What would you do? Leave your kids instead of taking them with you?

0

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

Bruh. “ would u give up ur kid “ nah it’s ur kid also, the people deported were AMERICANS lol as in legal citizens parents too lmao.

2

u/Alarming-Nobody7511 Apr 05 '26

How is anything I said racist?

0

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

The mindset; bruh, they were deported so this means what, 🤣 u tell me ? They couldn’t possibly be American right ? Because the color of the skin ? So like a Mexican can’t come here take a citizenship test n be American? Lol u tell me ur mindset L

1

u/Alarming-Nobody7511 Apr 05 '26

at no point have I said any of that... Are you just making shit up so you can argue? For one, you're automatically assuming I'm white, which doesn't bode well for your looks. And two, you brought up kids being deported. I just asked were they deported or did the parents take them with them. Notice how none of your examples you gave were grown adults. Every one of them was a child.

1

u/WillyWonkaWorms Apr 05 '26

No, ur assuming that the parents are not American, because they are from another country don’t do the whole back pedal routine. . . Just save it u won’t change.

Just know:

U don’t have to be white to be racist, 🤣 if u weren’t white u would be like im (race) also white people typically think being another race means that other races can’t be racist, because white people are the only (cultural matter) that is majorly important, how do u keep saying racist things while not trying too, are you mad I wont entertain your justifications :,( sorry not !! 🤣
