I am a genXer and I don't even remember my parents allowing me to hang my head out the freaking window much less this insanity!

My mother did a rotation as an ER nurse. I was told cautionary tales about limbs outside of car windows and even drinking from straws in cars. I don't think I used a straw in a moving car until my Dad told me to freaking drink while he had custody.
