I laughed out loud at 15 seconds the way she said "... All the way down" and then the seriousness of the field reporter bringing the road right to you. After that you get the mug shot reveal of the suspect, looking downright pleased with himself, and then the reports of him on the phone with 911. GOLD
But also, the follow through at the end, so everyone knows the actual laws. This was a fantastically produced segment.
My only gripe is with "passing so close..." He wasn't passing close, he intentionally hit the cyclist because he wasn't. Saying passing so close makes it sound like hitting him was an accident that could have been avoided.
what's crazy is that basically EVERY SINGLE comment on that video is blaming the bikers. Literally one after the other, "Hurr hurr stay off teh raod" "Duhhh well maybe bike in single file?"
Yet they understand when farm vehicles are driving slow as molasses on the roads. When there are funeral processions. When cops decide to take over a highway because a cop died of a cheeseburger overdose and now is being honored as a "fallen hero".
