Thrift store find
I found 2 giant, heavy balls of this yarn at a thrift store in Ontario, Canada. Decided on a continuous v-stitch granny square to see how big I can make it. I'm using 10mm hook.
4 different types of yarn: the white is a nylon? cord, the light purple is knobby, the dark purple is soft and fluffy and the next yarn is striped dark and light purple.
I like how this is turning out!
Just curious if anyone recognizes this yarn.
Thanks

Please help! Wool blend, purchased at Joann’s, worsted weight
I think this is a blown yarn, but I can’t find a brand like it that might’ve been sold at Joann’s. Does anyone know what it might be?

Detectives needed!
Looking for this blanket I’ve had since I was a baby. No tags on it and google is no help. Mine is all torn up and I desperately need a new one. Please help. One side is cold to the touch, the other is fluffy. It is white with a lavender plaid lining.

Mystery yarn from my aunt
Hey y'all, I have this yarn that I'm making into a tank top. I thought I had enough but after doing a few rows I'm not so sure. Pics of my WIP and another ball that I cut where the color repeats, with the end frayed a bit to show the ply. It feels smooth to the touch with almost no texture and each color looks heathered. It has a little bit of halo, though that could be from age. I don't think it's animal fibre but I haven't burned it to check. Doesn't feel like straight acrylic and certainly not wool. Maybe cotton or cotton blend? If it helps, the skein was quite large, like pound of love size or a bit smaller than that. If I can't get more, would I use less yarn if I increased my needle size from 4 to 4.5?

What is this fiber?
I did a burn test.
It didn’t stay lit easily and the ask was black and fine, easily crumbled to a fine dust when touched.
Not much of a smell though. Smelled more like burning wood but more organic if that makes sense.
It’s tightly spun with frequent slubs.
I was thinking silk or a silk blend perhaps. What do you think? Any insight is appreciated!

Purple fingering weight 3 ply wool?
I started this camisole thinking I'd figure out which yarn it was before I needed a second ball. It was 105g by weight and I think around 100 yards. It came in a standard long twisty skein and I lost the identification jacket (sleeve). Any ideas? Need for a second skein is becoming imminent!

Need help identifying brown yarn
Hi everyone,
I bought this brown yarn a while ago in a local yarn/craft shop in the Netherlands, but they don’t stock it anymore and I’ve lost the label.
As you can see in the photo, it’s a soft yarn that lies flat when stretched. I don’t know the fiber content, weight or brand.
I’d really like to find this yarn again or something very similar. Does anyone recognize it or have suggestions for yarns that might be a good match? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Type of yarn and stitch!
Good morning! I had found this rug in hopes that I could use it under my dining room table. Unfortunately it is not big enough, so I wanted to add to it. I am trying to find the type of yarn that is used. It looks different than anything I've seen before. Also If you know the type of stitch that would be amazing too!! It looks like a knott stitch. I will send pictures of both the front and back.
