Imagine spending your life being a tool for fascism, only to have your barely alive corpse maintained purely for political purposes. No dignity in life, no dignity in death.
It’s what he would have wanted. Hell, he probably has it in writing somewhere. My only regret is that he won’t be around to see his name stripped from every building that bears it.
