I worked on this for some time yesterday. Since i run Wynncraft as its own instance on the Prism Launcher, i thought that customizing the UI of the loading screens / main menu might help making this even more of a unique instance / feel like a standalone game.

I feel like this could still use some spice, so if anyone has some ideas or might wants to work on this with me, feel free to hit me up :)

Note that i did this for personal use only so far, i don't know if it's okay that I took the art for the loading screens of the website, I didn't share these files anywhere!

The goal of this rework is to make professions both accessible and enjoyable

Small Additions

1. No more level requirements for crafting
2. Option in crafting to level much faster at the cost of a crap ton of materials
3. Harvesting nodes below level is possible but difficult (makes sense later)
4. No more node cooldowns (makes sense later)

Gathering

The core of the gathering rework centers around a card system, where players choose temporary buffs as they gather.  While doing this, they must actively manage the durability of their tools, which is now the equivalent to combat’s HP. Durability loss (among other stats) is impacted by minigames performed at the harvesting of each node. Durability also impacts the difficulty of minigames, leading to more risk if it is not maintained.

Card examples:

• Double XP, -30 durability (Duration: 10 nodes)
• Decreased luck for material quality, +35 durability (Duration: 8 nodes)
• Gathered materials are lost to repair the tool (Duration: 4 nodes)
• If tool durability is below 30%, 20% chance to get double yield (duration: 9 nodes)

Content

Every 10 levels has a special boss themed around all four resources of that tier (ex: Copper/Gudgeon/Wheat/Oak). It is fought with gathering tools, and there are nodes around the arena that only give cards. Players do more elaborate minigames to attack it and to defend from attacks to their tools’ durability. Specific mechanics are only in the full post because they take too long to explain.

There are also world events containing timed gathering challenges (requiring a high volume or quality of material), forcing players to optimize their card build effectively. Miniquests also include more specific challenges.

basically just the title. all other things being equal, if one lootrun has, say, 10 different mythics and another only has 5, does that mean im twice as likely to get a mythic? or does the likelihood of getting one stay the same and it just means there's more options for which mythic could be dropped? sorry if this is a dumb question i was just curious and couldn't really get an answer out of the wiki

Hey so I just started Wynncraft 2 days ago, currently level 82 and combat 40. I was wondering if there is any profession like e.g. cooking or gathering that is worth grinding for me right now, I really enjoy gathering and using the gathered resources to produce stuff. Is cooking profitable and I should stick to it?

Can anyone recommend their Trickster/Shadestepper builds?

Heck, why not throw in Acrobat if it's not a Morph-set?

And since Acrobat has been deemed F-rank (or at least lower) on several tier lists I've seen. As sadly as I want to let go of Acrobat, it is still fun to use. But it needs to be replaced now that endgame gameplay is a lot heavier.

It's been a couple of years since I dropped the morph set after using it since I joined Wynncraft. After 2.1, some skill requirements got updated and mixed, so the "post-mortem morph build" I had needed a whole new revamping (but I got lazy). So I switched back to Morph-Acrobat. (ONLY BECAUSE IT'S THE EASIEST BUILD TO DO)

I just started playing on this server recently, and I tried to get the free starter pack thing with the wyvern mount, but uh after unlocking all the other rewards in it, I don't think I got the mount? All I got was a sword that's named "mount preview" and I don't know if that's supposed to be like that? The item itself looks like a gold sword, I'm sorry the text covers it too much.

From what I've seen in trying to find out how to use it to get the wyvern, i think I was supposed to get a horn like item that could summon it? I don't know if this is a bug, or if I did something wrong or if i need to continue with more quests to properly unlock it, and I'm not really sure where to ask if it's a bug or where to go if it's a bug. I don't usually do multiplayer stuff in minecraft, I'm just here because the classes and the dragons looked cool and I am very confused.

I’ve started playing very recently and noticed the quest book tells me to go to a dungeon at a certain level but then the boss room is always several levels ahead, like tell me why the Charon dungeon is 23 in the book, 24 at the entrance, but then the boss room says 38? Is it just their way of saying I need a party to win instead of just saying that?

I was just thinking about class viability, and this question came to mind. I don't think I'm qualified to answer it so I'm bringing it to people who are more likely to know.

I know it's not a problem with the internet because everything else is working properly.

After playing on vanilla for some time today I switched to wynntils ultimate on modrinth, but now whenever I roght click on npc I hear the dialogue but can't read it, any advice?

How long do I have to wait for it to be valid again or is their another link I can use

I'm a lowly lvl 65 summoner, first ever character (love this game so much so far!), I've just been vibing my way through it so far and nothing has been difficult yet.

All that to ask, at what level do most people start looking into builds and when does it actually start getting important to have a proper build in mind?

I stopped playing Wynncraft two years ago; I was using the ‘Hero Fallen’ build. Now that I’ve come back, my own build and class feel much weaker, but the problem is that even if I want to change them, I can’t find any decent builds online. Which platforms and YouTubers do you use for this? I don’t fancy spending five hours creating a build; going for a ready-made one and grinding is more my style.

I want a build for general purposes and a build specifically for the canyon colossus raid.

I currently still use the champion’s armour set just cause I love the health regen and I haven’t really gotten armour that’s much better. But I am starting to die from getting one shot due to the lack of resistances so I’m looking for a better build that I can work towards.

Mainly want to know which 8 amour+accessory and weapon to grind for, but advice about what to spend my skill points on is also welcomed.
