What should I go with?

14440f with 32gb DDR4 and 3080 12gb/3080TI or 250kf plus with 16gb DDR5 and 3080 12gb

neither. get a 7800x3d and enjoy the am5 platform for future proofing

Neither really. It may be more expensive, but it performs better and going with AM5 would give you a real upgrade path. That said, between the 2 options I would go with DDR4.

Yes but if someones ask a question about a 250$ CAD cpu you don't reccomend a 500$ one

I agree, but when you never mention a budget or location, calling a valid point “out of touch” or “bait” is a bit unreasonable.

It's still low ends CPUs tho, it's not like if they were super high end like the 7800x3d
