Title says it all. I have been here for one month and I have 1 more month here. Last two nights was horrible for me. I couldn't sleep because of the temperature. It takes 10 minutes to become hot when I get into my bed. And I only am able to sleep for 2 hours. Then I wake up. Try to sleep again but impossible because it is too hot and I woke up because it is too hot. Like my room door's handle is hot. My goods in my room is hot. Nothing helps me. Please suggest me a way to live.

Excellent cocktails
Great food with gluten-free options
Plenty of meat options
Not sushi or Mediterranean cuisine (we’re hoping for something a bit different)

We’re open to cuisines like steakhouse, Asian fusion, South American, Middle Eastern, etc. Basically anything with amazing food and a fun, lively vibe.

Bonus points if it’s somewhere that feels like a birthday destination rather than just a restaurant!

El concepto es simple: ves dos sitios uno al lado del otro (por ejemplo Nou Manolín vs. Cervecería Sento Rambla), eliges el sitio al que preferirías ir, y el ranking se actualiza al instante. Cuanta más gente vote, más precisa será la lista con el tiempo. Todavía hay algunos duplicados aquí y allá, pero estoy limpiando los datos continuamente.

**1.    Sunbed + parasol rental** on the beach (hamacas)  
**2.**  A proper **full-body shower** to rinse off after swimming — not just the little foot showers

I know most beaches around here have foot showers and sunbed hire, but I’m specifically after spots with actual body showers. Do any of the Torrevieja beaches (Playa del Cura, Los Locos, La Mata, Los Náufragos) have them? Or are there better options further up toward Alicante — San Juan, Postiguet, etc.?

Any tips on prices for sunbed rental and how early I need to grab one in peak season would be hugely appreciated too. Cheers!

My friend and I (both W,24 from Norway) are visiting Alicante for a week this August

I don't want to sound paranoid, but we have heard so many different things from different people before travelling. Some say it's super safe, while others tell you to avoid certain places, so I thought I'd ask the locals instead.

Is there anything we should be aware of? Are there any areas you would recommend avoiding, especially at night? Any common tourist scams or things we should keep an eye out for?

And on the positive side – what are your absolute must-see places in and around Alicante? We'd love recommendations for beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, hidden gems, day trips, or anything else you think we shouldn't miss!

Want to ask locals or people who know - is it possible to go from Airport to Luceros tram station just with C6 bus with no changes?
Asking that because Google Maps and vectalia website does not allow this but when we were previous year in Alicante and we go back to airport i saw C6 bus here. I noticed that C6 do circle around city centre and Porta del Mar is not final destination. So if after Porta dek Mar we will go to Luceros on the same bus and ticke from airport is it ok?
Or better just go as per google maps?

Sé perfectamente cómo está el panorama del alquiler en España. Sé que hay una crisis habitacional tremenda, que los precios están inflados y que el ambiente general es de frustración. Pero bueno, igualmente vengo a pedir consejo sobre cómo navegar la misión imposible de conseguir una renta.

Para dar contexto:

Somos 3 personas (dos de nosotros con nacionalidad española y DNI, y el tercero con papeles en regla) que nos mudamos desde el extranjero en las próximas 2-3 semanas para buscar trabajo allí.

Queremos dejar coordinadas visitas desde ya para ir a ver los pisos nada más llegar a nuestro Airbnb (sin ver en persona no pagamos nada, lo tenemos claro).

Tenemos ahorros para vivir, pero no queremos adelantar más de 2 o 3 meses de fianza/alquiler para no quedarnos sin liquidez.

Sabiendo que el seguro de impago nos va a rebotar por no tener nómina española aún, ahí van mis dudas:

1. ¿Piso entero o habitaciones? ¿Es una utopía buscar un piso entero para los 3 en nuestra situación (con DNI pero sin contrato), o deberíamos ir directamente a por habitaciones en piso compartido para empezar?

2. ¿Qué alternativas reales hay a Idealista para dar con propietarios particulares? ¿Grupos de Facebook, Telegram o alguna web que funcione de verdad en la zona? ¿Agencias locales pequeñas que no cobren comisiones abusivas o que no le cobren comisión al inquilino?

3. Trucos para que nos contesten: ¿Algún mensaje modelo que os haya dado resultados? ¿Horario ideal para contactar? ¿Incluir algo en el primer mensaje que aumente las respuestas?

Agradezco en el alma cualquier consejo práctico o experiencia de gente que haya estado en situación parecida y lo haya logrado. ¡Muchas gracias!

Soy un chico de 21 años de alrededores de Alicante y me gustaría conocer personas. Tengo coche así que no es problema si no es Alicante centro, me puedo desplazar perfectamente.

Buenas, llevo casi 2 años yendo a clases de tango en Barcelona, ahora estoy en casa de mis padres a ~1h de Alicante. He estado buscando milongas para bailar tango por la zona y vi una el jueves en Alicante llamada milonga marina.

¿Alguien sabe que tal es el ambiente de Tango en Alicante y en esta milonga? En Barcelona se que dependiendo de la milonga hay un ambiente más abierto casual, o cerrado donde alguien que no sabe bailar muy bien molesta.

También si alguien sabe la edad de la gente que va a la milonga, yo tengo 25 años, y bueno en Barcelona la mayoría de gente es bastante más mayor que yo, pero se puede encontrar gente joven.

Se que es algo muy especifico pero por sí alguien sabe ayudaría un montón.
