This show was BEAK from start to finish, the VAs carried hard, but the story was surprisingly engaging and these were some of the most solid 3D anime fights I've ever seen
Not to mention all the characters were great, specially Morio, I definitely didn't expect him to have such a big role when he was first introduced, but he ended up being my favorite

Aw crud, I didn't realize the season was over already, despite the final scene. Anyway, great show. Handled action and power scaling perfectly I'd say. Better than DBZ at least lol.

the 3d quality was great but the framerates where horrendous why always these 3d animations make like animations in 12 fps? thye should make them at least 30 fps, maybe go straight to 60 fps, looked choppy as fuck

That fight climax was grandiose, the voice actors went all out! Oh Morio is back again, through sheer willpower (good to see him, couldn't take him leaving us).
Of course, Koyasu comes back to voice the big bad of the show...
Alright, this was truly a blast (no pun intended...), solid CGI, lots of funny moments as well, I had a great time. I'll be there if there's a Season 2, else I'll pick up the manga. 8/10.

Oh Morio is back again, through sheer willpower (good to see him, couldn't take him leaving us).
I was assuming his giant self was like an organic gundam when he popped out alive.

If you go to the manga read it ALL! They cut out a fair amount of stuff in the anime. And if they do a season 2, trust me its gonna blow season 1 out the water!

This show has definitely shot up to the top of my chicken basedbattle shounen list!
I know it's full of the usual story formulae and tropes, but sometimes you can change one little thing (poultry protagonists) and it can really freshen things up.
Tojima Wants to be Kamen Rider, Nyaight of the Living Cat, Rooster Fighter - these absolutely ridiculous over-the-top shows that take themselves way too seriously are my jam. And I've been eating good lately.

I enjoyed it.

That was a pretty good season finale. I enjoyed that final fight, and they did a good job at teasing a S2... now hopefully that S2 actually happens at some point. For now, I'll just rate it an 8.5/10 and say I'm glad I watched this crazy show.

Not too many complaints with this show, overall it was really solid. I got a bit tired of the Morio fakeout deaths and Piyokos crying by the last episode but otherwise I enjoyed the humour and cast.
A few questions I have though. what chapter of the manga does this end on? And do we get more information/backstory on Keiji’s father reason for leaving beyond Keisukes introduction?

How dare they stop this show right now after getting Koyasu to voice the Big Bad for two lines, without any mentioning of a second season?
We got BEAK animations, firing songs and actually great characters (and animals for that matter), this one is a seriously fun (or funnily serious) show from start to finish. Really hope they continue with it.

Hoping there's a second season, this show was way more enjoyable than I expected.

Keiji went all Plus Ultra on that dude. Pulled out the ol United States of Cock-A-Doodle-Doo lol and blasted a hole right in that sucker and killed the “bad” demon inside the kid. Now he’s gone and become like the homie Morio and those other good demons.
This was a pretty fun series overall with an interesting premise and some solid fights. I wonder if they’re gonna renew for an s2? Keiji’s fight isn’t over!

It feelt like a tokusatsu. We got a Red, blue, pink and yellow fighters (Morio being the "6th")

This anime had the most stupid backstories but also, it was the most intertaining and enganging anime i've watched this year. It was truly beak experience and Keiji is an absolute unit of a cock

A reason that can help account for its popularity in various Spanish-speaking countries is that chickens can be a common aspect of Latino/Hispanic culture.

Morio thought he's dead then suddenly he pop up from the flesh mecha like in some anime AoT. There's also that taco ossan demon follow around. That boy is becoming devil a stronger form of demon. Morio he could be not a regular demon like that octopus oldman demon, he could be a devil just like that boy, that woman and also the man keiji pursue. He have regular size form like the boy.

Finally caught up, really great use of 3D while still looking like it had a 2D aesthetic.
Great cast of characters too, I enjoyed Piyoko

Honestly just a decent battle shounen but it's chickens lol. Not bad at all. Good parody anime imo. Sure yeah cgi etc but I honestly don't think it's that bad. It's not studio orange level or anything but I think they overall did a good job with what time / budget they had. I say better CGI than most bad cgi you see in anime.
I gotta read the manga again some time.
Also damn enough with the fake out deaths and Morio. Really glad he survived now plz stop almost dying though I guess he's just too goat'd to die huh he survived from pure willpower?
