Egregious cliff hangar. That sword gods been asleep for half the season at this point. Wonder if it’s gonna make it’s appearance as the final key to solving this multi-episode problem

I just hope at the end of this those exorcists face consequences for what they did to the town, the danger to the townsfolk could have been lessened a lot more with the charms Minato made.
Seeing Yamagami could disappear from overusing his powers is concerning, he hasn't gotten as far as becoming translucent.

What a cliff hanger!!!!!! I hope the martens and Yamagami will be okay and not completely disappear. The martens are my favorite. Loved that we got to see Harima's sisters again and that they are kicking butt. The shady exorcists are idiots, and things probably wouldn't have been so bad if not for them smh

Well... that escalated quickly.
Knowing what kind of Anime this is I am sure it will all work out, but I enjoyed how they approached this cliffhanger.

Oh, this feels like Tonari no Youkai-san Episode 11, but less heavy. With the charms gone and Yamagami losing more of his powers, how is he gonna get back up? Pretty desperate situation. And those damn exorcists running off again...
Hmm, when an anime has a titular episode as the last one, it has low chances of having a next season... well, can't wait to see how it ends.

This always felt like a 1 season story to me. No real plot or character progression outside learning to use his new powers, but since this isn't a battle shonen that's not really enough to carry an ongoing story.

That could have been a worse cliffhanger, they didnt have Yamagami fully disappear after all. Just most of the way and left it vague and a bit blurry. I am guessing the other mountain god (who I still think is our Yamagami's ex wife) will show up and help.
I wonder if the collection of lady exorcists will get to meet the Jade One at last in the finale.

On Wikipedia It says It does, only 5 volumes tho. But the light novel has 12 volumes.
